Financial performance is fundamental to the success and sustainability of any business. Despite several measures of success that business organizations strive for such as status, market share etc., the bottom line for any business is to be financially successful; otherwise the business becomes unsustainable in the long run. The key financial performance measures that are mainly used by most businesses are DuPont analysis. It used to dissect the firm's financial statements and assess its financial condition. The DuPont analysis of financial performance results showed that the level of performance the sugar sector companies was fair and it should be improved by the sample sugar companies by improving the total asset turnover ratio. Keywords

Retaining customers in current era is of utmost importance and crucial for the success of any business enterprise. Identifying potential and loyal customers for any enterprise is of great importance. Customer loyalty is one of the major aspects of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). It is very important for an organization to identify its loyal customers, so that the organization can provide better and special services to these customers in order to enhance their business. In this paper, the construction of fuzzy decision tree has been refined by assigning the weights to each attribute, as all the attributes may not affect the customer loyalty equally.
This paper proposes an application, which makes use of fuzzy decision trees for classifying customers into various categories. Rather than identifying a customer crisply falling near to the end boundaries, soft boundaries (concept of fuzziness) are used which classifies the customer into different predefined classes of loyalty from the information stored about the customers by the organization.
This procedure helps in classifying customers in a better way as compared to crisp classification. The proposed framework is evaluated on a sample dataset that provides encouraging results.

The present study focuses on the Brand preference of farmers and dealers towards the bt cotton hybrid seeds. Totally 50 farmers and 20 dealers were selected by simple random sampling method. Percentage analysis, Garrett ranking and Standard deviation were used for the analysis of the study. From the results it could be concluded that most of the farmers well aware about the Bt cotton in the study area. Major share of the sample farmer respondents were old aged persons and they are illiterates. Moreover, a majority of the dealers are above the age group of 50 years and well experienced in the marketing of seeds. Cost of seeds and influence of dealers are the main factors influencing the purchase of the hybrid seeds. Keywords
