Abstract

In the field of energy conversion lot of research in transformer less inverters is in development. Photovoltaic system connecting with the electrical grid, transformer less inverters has proved to be a good option due to their good output in energy conversion method. Earlier PV system with transformer were used which have efficiency in the range of 92% - 94%. For better performance of PV inverter, an innovative system, PV inverter without transformer is introduced presently by researchers. In this new technology researchers introduced different types of topologies. In this paper different configurations given by researchers such as H5, H6, HERIC, Dual paralleled buck inverter are compared. In order to resolve difficulties such as leakage current, compact size, improved or high efficiency, protection and difficulties related to common mode voltage transformer less inverter configurations are introduced by different researchers. In this paper different topologies are reviewed on above factors and analyzed.

Abstract

The object of this paper is to find out the technical possibility of transformer less solar PV system applications in the domestic single-phase system. In this paper a boost converter circuit has been designed which is replacing transformer from inverter circuit which is used in transformer-less inverter to energize grid linked solar PV system. In this paper a dual boost converter has been designed for converting unregulated voltage of PV system to a fixed high level regulated voltage .The circuit has been simulated using Mat lab simulation software and results are presented in this paper.

Abstract

In this paper a novel approach to dual boost converter is presented which is applicable to transformer less grid linked inverter. The input voltage from solar modules given to boost converter should be fixed. But due to environmental causes it varies. For a certain range of variations in input it is controlled by controlling the PWM triggering of MOSFET in boost converter circuit so that the output of the boost converter is a fixed output. This approach is analyzed, designed and simulated using MATLAB/SIMULINK, curve fitting in MATLAB and generating formula, implementing the formula using VHDL on Spartan 3 FPGA and also on AVR microcontroller.

Abstract

In this paper, a single-phase PV inverter applying a dual boost converter circuit inverter is proposed for photovoltaic (PV) generation system and PV grid connected system. This system is designed to improve integration of a Single phase inverter with Photovoltaic panel. The DC 24V is converted into to 86V DC and then 86V DC to 312V DC. The 312V DC is then successfully inverted to AC 220V. Hence solar energy is powerfully converted into electrical energy for fulfilling the necessities of the home load, or to link with the grid. Matlab Simulation software was used for simulation of the circuit and outcome are presented in this paper.
