Suitability of Alnus nitida (Alder) was studied for making various grades of plywood and blockboards with commercial adbesives viz., U-F and P-F. Alder is suitable for making plywood for general purpose, preservative treated plywood, fire retardant treated plywood, plywood for concrete shuttering work and for blockboard. It is also easy to treat with water soluble preservatives and fire retardant chemicals, which do not affect the glue bond to any great extent. Alnus nitida therefore, could be included in the list of species recommended for the above purposes in the various Indian Standard Specifications.- A Trip to Bara Banghal in Kangra District

Endodontic management of immature non vital permanent teeth in young pediatric patients is a great challenge to dentists. The walls of the ischolar_main canals are frequently divergent and open apexes make debridement and obturation difficult. Thus closure of ischolar_main apex is very essential for success of the endodontic treatment. Although different materials are used for the apexification procedure, calcium hydroxide is the material of choice for apical barrier formation and healing. There are different opinions regarding frequency of CaOH dressing change to induce complete closure of the apex. Literature suggests that dressing should be changed frequently. Therefore the aim of the present article is to report the successful closure of ischolar_main apex in pulpless permanent incisors with wide open apices in a pediatric patients using CaOH dressing.Keywords

Soymilk, which can be extracted from soybeans using modern technology can be made to taste great while containing all the nutrients of soybean, it can be handled and used much in the same way as dairy milk. It is lactose free, cholesterol free and low in saturated fat Soymilk is an excellent source of high quality protein, B vitamins, calcium and vitamin D. Soymilk is free of the milk sugar (lactose) and is a good choice for people who are lactose intolerant. Also it is a food alternative for those who are allergic to cow's milk. Only 0.5 per cent of the children are allergic to soymilk, whereas 2.5 per cent are allergic to cow's milk.- Utilization of Sweet Cream Buttermilk for the Preparation of Flavoured Beverage

Buttermilk is a high quality food product and offers a good nutrition for adults through its composition similar to that of skim milk. Buttermilk is one of the by-products, which is often wasted and drained. Sweet cream buttermilk is fairly nutritious comprising of 0.4 per cent fat, 3.4 per cent protein, 4.5 per cent lactose, 0.7 per cent ash, 91 per cent water and fresh enough to be used in the form of dairy beverages, toned milk yoghurt and other dairy products.- Development of Suitable Technology for Low Cost Dietetic Gulabjamun Prepared from Filled Milk Khoa
