Wireless sensor network (WSN) is usually considered as a large-scale network with thousands of tiny sensors and deployed in smart grid, smart city, smart home, and so forth to sense the information. The primary goal of WSNs is how to collect sensed information in energy efficient way since the energy is limited. Hence to reduce the power consumption we go for the technique of cell zooming and green energy concepts where the amount of power consumed can be effectively reduced by having low-power, low cost base station. This proposed system utilizes an indigenously developed routing protocol which proves to be effective in the picture where we consider energy efficiency as the major constraint. Also the proposed technique is a derivation of the sector mapping technique where robust sector division occurs by only considering a few parameters by using the paradigm divide and conquer methodology. Sensors have limited battery power, energy-efficient routing is important. Also in the results we have incorporated the concept of electro-magnetic pollution index (EPI) for visual simulation. Keywords

This paper proposes a new fingerprint matching system which uses both ridge features and conventional minutiae features. This system may increase the recognition performance of fingerprint matching system against skin distortions. This system suggests the extraction of ridge features like ridge count, ridge length, ridge curvature direction and ridge type. These ridge features are less affected by skin distortions. To extract the ridge features we use the ridge based coordinate system in the skeletonized image. With the proposed ridge features and conventional minutiae features we propose a matching procedure using the hamming algorithm. In the matching process we compute the Euclidian distance between the input fingerprint finger code and the finger code of the template. FVC 2002 was used as the sample database of fingerprints. Thus we conclude that the matching process using the proposed features and hamming algorithm may increase the recognition performance of the fingerprint recognition systems against distorted fingerprints. Keywords

Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) is an image-processing technology and an important field of research that identifies vehicles by their number plates in which the number plate information is extracted from vehicle's image or from sequence of images without direct human intervention. ANPR consists of 4 phases: - Preprocessing, number plate extraction, character segmentation, character recognition. This paper presents an efficient approach for number plate extraction from preprocessed vehicle input image using morphological operations, thresholding, sobel vertical edge detection and connected component analysis. The input image is firstly preprocessed using iterative bilateral filter and adaptive histogram equalization. Keywords

The majority password-authenticated key agreement protocols have focused on authenticated key in agreement using shared secret code stuck between a client and a server. With the materialization of a variety of communication environments such as global network, it is necessary to construct a protected channel between clients. Cross-realm client-to-client password authenticated key agreement (C2C-PAKA) protocol can make available secure authenticated key agreement for two clients of dissimilar realms, who only share their passwords with their have possession of servers. This paper presents a new password verification and key-exchange procedure suitable for client-to-client without a server public key in different realms to agree on a common session key using dissimilar passwords over an untrusted network. We propose Rumor Riding (RR), a lightweight and non-path-based mutual inscrutability protocol for decentralized P2P systems. Employing an accidental walk mechanism, RR takes benefit of lower transparency by mainly using the symmetric cryptographic algorithm. The planned protocol’s safety procedures, simplicity, and speed make it ideal for an extensive range of real-world applications in which protected password authentication is required.

Objectives: In WSN, several sensor nodes are used which having sensing and communication capabilities. It considers energy awareness as essential. Methods: In this method, using average data aggregation can be effectively reduced the energy consuming. Each device node used to sense the information about environmental conditions and finally data will be sent to the destination. In this proposed work, it generates the similar data by recognizing sensors which are in the similar location using Average Data Aggregation and send it to the destination. Finding: In this result, other than showing average aggregated value for similar data in case of any abnormal environmental condition it directly shows such abnormal reading in the base station. Improvements/Applications: Therefore, it eliminates redundant data and minimizes the data transmission and performs load balancing. Keywords

The present study was investigated the effect of low temperature on the activity of the entomopathogenic nematodes, Heterorhabditis indica and Steinernema glaseri. The effects of low temperature at 50 to 250C were tested under BOD conditions. The survival and infectivity of entomopathogenic nematodes in insect host were studied. Survival of H. indica was significantly greater at the lowest temperature of 100C conversely survival of S. glaseri was significantly greater at a temperature of 50 and 100C. The infectivity of H. indica and S. glaseri was effective at temperature of 200 and 250 C (100 % and 100 %, respectively) for S. glaseri 100, 150 and 200C (74.00%, 100 % and 100 %, respectively). Keywords
