The convergence of Grid computing with Web service leads to the emergence of service oriented Grid. Despite the fact that more and more applications are being developed in the form of standard and custom Grid services, the development of Grid services and client applications lacks tooling support. We address this issue with an Eclipse-based environment for developing, using and managing Grid services and client applications for service-oriented Grid. This paper provides a general introduction of this environment and outlines the functionality and designs of the tools that constitute this environment and implementation of Grid Service which is Migration Service. Keywords

Automatic highlight generation from sports video is necessary because of the scattered sports videos over internet promote need of spontaneous video examination, like quick browsing, video summarization, identifying and record fascinating highlights for later review. Highlight extraction is unique key technologies in sports video for educational as well as in real time application. This paper telltale several procedures to create spontaneous highlights from sports videos.

In recent years, technologies have made huge amount of multimedia content available the video repositories. As users shift from text based retrieval systems to content based retrieval systems there is huge demand of content based video retrieval. As per user interest it is difficult to retrieve the appropriate videos from large video warehouse. Efficiency of the retrieval system depends upon the search method used and use of unsuitable search method may degrade the performance of the retrieval system. There is an important role of feature selection in content based video retrieval. These features are proposed for selection, indexing and ranking according to user’s interest. So there is a need of multimedia data accessible and searchable with great ease and flexibility. This paper offers an outline of the different existing techniques in content based video retrieval and finally analyzes future research directions.
