A large number of female patients who are married are recovered to have psychiatric illness only after the marriage. The arm of this study was to delineate the clinical and socio demography profile of the patient who have been deserted, divorced or separated judicially or my mutual consent.The socio-demographic profile, the age of on set of illness, the clinical profile, the duration, episodes of illness and the stated reason of desertion was noted. The burden of care scale was administered to the most significant caregiver as identified by consensus of the family. Most of the deserted females were schizophrenic, although manic episodes occurring after the marriage was also the cause. Mental retardation and severe OCD were also among the clinical profile. The caregiver had immense burden of care and their concern in respect of the life and future will be discussed later. Concealment of mental illness before marriage was the major cause of divorce or separation that has caused great burden on the care givers.Keywords

While dealing with mobile distributed systems, we come across some issues like: mobility, low bandwidth of wireless channels and lack of stable storage on mobile nodes, disconnections, limited battery power and high failure rate of mobile nodes. These issues make traditional checkpointing techniques designed for Distributed systems unsuitable for Mobileenvironments. In this paper, we design a minimum process algorithm for Mobile Distributed systems, where no useless checkpoints are taken and an effort has been made to optimize the blocking of processes. We propose to delay the processing of selective messages at the receiver end only during the checkpointing period. A Process is allowed to perform its normal computations and send messages during its blocking period. In this way, we try to keep blocking of processes to bare minimum. In order to keep the blocking time minimum, we collect the dependency vectors and compute the exact minimum set in the beginning of the algorithm. The number of processes that take checkpoints is minimized to 1) avoid awakening of MHs in doze mode of operation, 2) minimize thrashing of MHs with checkpointing activity, 3) save limited battery life of MHs and low bandwidth of wireless channels. In coordinated checkpointing, if a single process fails to take its checkpoint; all the checkpointing effort goes waste, because, each process has to abort its tentative checkpoint. In order to take its tentative checkpoint, an MH needs to transfer large checkpoint data to its local MSS over wireless channels.

Microfinance is the most preferred way of satisfying the essentials of poor which are generally not taken care of by formal financial institutions. It is the way to facilitate them to uphold self-employment through various financial services like provision of funds, insurance, credit etc. Microfinance institutions cater to the need of major section of society by providing access to funds and other financial services, which basically lack access to these services. To accomplish this moral objective microfinance institutions (MFIs) need to be profitable and sustainable. Thus most important question arises is: what factors drive the sustainability of MFIs. The aim of microfinance is to alleviate poverty with the help of increasing access to finance.For well-being of the poor, good sustainable performance of MFIs must be achieved. Therefore, the present study attempts to explore different factors which might affect sustainability of Indian MFIs. Panel regression analysis is used to identify the determinants of sustainability of Indian MFIs. Due to non-availability of data for most of the MFIs, five years (2009-2013) data for 46 MFIs shall constitute our sample size. Results of the study exhibit that variables such as average loan balance, borrowers per staff member, return on asset, and yield on gross loan portfolio are major determinants of sustainability (financial and operational sustainability) of Indian MFIs.

Background/Objectives: Iris recognition system refers to a system used for identifying different iris texture patterns for different applications. The research is aimed at developing a system that improves the efficiency of the iris recognition system and make it more reliable and robust. Methods: To this end, we have developed a system based on compound local binary pattern technique. Compound local binary technique is a spatial domain technique, which assign a 2P bit code to central pixel based on the local neighbourhood comprising of P neighbours. The operator takes into consideration both the sign and magnitude information of the central and corresponding neighbour grey values. The unique and abundant features extracted through Compound Local Binary Pattern (CLBP) operator act as input to the neural network classifier. Findings: The system has been tested over 50 eye images taken from CASIA database. Iris recognition system based on Compound local binary pattern technique along with neural network used as classifier improves the accuracy of system in comparison to existing feature extraction approaches. In this proposed research, recognition rate achieved is 96%.Keywords

Background: Difference in the stress, anxiety and depression level is seen among medical students living in hostel and home. Aims: To assess the difference on personality dynamics of Hostellers and residential MBBS students of II and V Semester. Material and Methods: The participants consisted of 120 MBBS students of 1st and 2nd professional in the age group 18-23 years. The students were assessed at their 1st professional and 2nd Professional examination duration respectively by using NEO Five Factor Personality Inventory (NEO FFI). Binary logistic regression analysis was performed to calculate odds ratio (OR).Results: study concluded that as compared to day scholar students, hostilities showed significant difference on major dimensions of personality such as neuroticism, openness, agreeableness, extraversion and conscientiousness. Conclusion: The anxiety experience was more common due to academics in medical students and seen predominantly among hosteller medical students. Strategy development for eliminating anxiety is necessary for promoting healthy and skilled life.Keywords

Multiprocessor scheduling is an NP-hard problem, no exact tractable algorithm exist. Many algorithms to schedule DAGs on multiprocessors have been proposed but this paper is an attempt to implement the scheduling algorithm called mapping heuristic of APN class. This paper also gives the scheduling trace of the algorithm which will describe how the tasks are allocated to the different processors with the help of Gantt chart.Keywords
