In the present study, we report anti-urolithiasis effect of ethanolic extract of leaves of Cocculus hirsutus (L.) Diels (CH-eth) on the biochemical and histopathological parameters against sodium oxalate (NaOx) induced urolithiasis model in rat. The increased severity of microscopic calcium oxalate (CaOx) crystal deposition along with increased CaOx concentration in kidney was seen after seven days of NaOx (70 mg/kg, i.p) pretreatment. CH-eth (100 and 200 mg/kg, p.o.) and standard marketed formulation, Cystone® (500 mg/kg, p.o.) caused significant reversal of NaOx induced changes in ion excretion and urinary CaOx concentration in seven day treatement (prophylactic and therapeutic schedule). In conclusion, CH-eth showed beneficial effect against urolithiasis by decreasing CaOx excretion and preventing crystal deposition in kidney tubules. Keywords

Background: Vestibular rehabilitation is an increasing popular treatment options for patients with persistent dizziness or vertigo. Cawthorne and Cooksey exercises in form of habituation exercises are a simple, inexpensive treatment that may be suitable for home based exercise program. Objective: To determine the benefit of Cawthorne and Cooksey exercises with standard medical care given in case of chronic vertigo as vestibular suppressant, using a brief intervention for vertigo patients in a home based exercises program given by a trained professional.
Method: Elderly people consulting their general practitioner with dizziness or vertigo were randomly assigned to treatment or control group. Patients in both the group received the same evaluation at baseline, midsession and four week latter comprising the assessment of balance and vertigo symptoms. At base line and mid-term follow up all the patients were stimulated with habituation as Cawthorne and Cooksey exercises comprising of Eye, Head Trunk exercises designed to promote vestibular compensation and enhance skill and confidence in balance and reducing the symptoms of vertigo. While the control group as well the study group were allowed to take regular medication prescribed by their physician for their presenting symptoms.
Result: Result were calculated for the subjects who completed the study excluding patients which did not complete the study (n=10) .The treatment group (n=15) with mean age and standard deviation was 57.13 + 6.33 where as the control group (n=15) with mean age and standard deviation 56.2 + 4.47. Result calculated using paired t test demonstrated significant result in both the group but when comparison was done it was more significant ( P0.05). Where as at final result of comparison of means between different session for SRT (Sharpened Romberg test for standing)and VSS (vertigo symptom scale) showed group A showed more significance (P
Conclusion: Cawthorne and Cooksey exercises are simple, inexpensive and beneficial form of habituation exercise used to improve balance and vertigo symptoms in a home based treatment program.

Context: Obesity is nowadays becoming a serious health problem especially in the developed and developing countries. Overweight and obesity mainly include abnormal or excessive fat accumulation that may impair health. Neck circumference is a simple and time saving screening measure that can be used to identify overweight's. Therefore, the present study aimed to determine the correlation of neck circumference with pulmonary function variables in young Indian adult adults with or without excess body weight.
Objective: To determine the correlation of neck circumference (NC) with Forced Vital Capacity (FVC) and Forced Expiratory Volume in first second (FEV1) in young Indian adult females with or without excess body weight.
Design: correlational
Conclusion: Neck circumference showed a positive correlation with FEV1 and FVC in normal weight subjects. However in the overweight subjects, neck circumference was observed to have negative correlations with both FEV1 and FVC.

Complexity of many digital signal processing (DSP) systems reduced by a Multiple Constant Multiplication (MCM) operation. For the better performance of digital signal processing systems, Multiple Constant Multiplication (MCM) operation is not sufficient. To get better results some other operations are used with MCM. Thus, this paper introduces a Common Sub expression Elimination (CSE) operation with MCM operation. With the help of these techniques problems in the optimization of finite impulse response(FIR) filter design can be solved by decreasing the number of operators. Using These Techniques show the efficiency by reducing area when compared to previously used algorithms designed. Keywords

Internet address lookup is a challenging problem because of increasing routing table sizes, increased traffic, higher speed links, and the migration to 128 bit IPv6 addresses. IP routing lookup requires computing the best matching prefix, for which standard solutions like hashing were believed to be inapplicable. The best existing solution we know of, BSD radix tries, scales badly as IP moves to 128 bit addresses. This paper presents a novel algorithm “Distributed memory organization” for lookup of 128 bit IPv6 addresses and “Asymmetric Linear search” on hash tables organized by prefix lengths. Our scheme scales very well when traffic on routers is unevenly distributed and in genera it requires only 3-4 lookups, independent of the address bits and table size. Thus it scales very well for IPv4 and IPv6 under such network conditions. Using the proposed techniques a router can achieve a much higher packet forwarding rate and throughput. Keywords

In practical application, the statistical characteristics of signal and noise are usually unknown or can't have been learned so that we hardly design fix coefficient digital filter. In allusion to this problem, the theory of the adaptive filter and adaptive noise cancellation are researched deeply. According to the Least Mean Squares (LMS) and the Recursive Least Squares (RLS) algorithms realize the design and simulation of adaptive algorithms in noise canceling, and compare and analyze the result then prove the advantage and disadvantage of two algorithms .The adaptive filter with MATLAB are simulated and the results prove its performance is better than the use of a fixed filter designed by conventional methods. Keywords

Consumer attitude is a combination of consumer belief systems, thoughts, and behavioral intent towards a brand. The shopping behavior of consumers today is greatly influenced by social media. Research suggests that there is an increasing reliance of consumers on social media to get information about unfamiliar brands. This study tries to understand how consumer attitude, when combined with social media, helps the customer make the final purchase decision. The present research was undertaken to determine the degree of social media’s effect on customer decision-making for fast-moving consumer products at various phases of the process. The stages included are information search, alternative evaluation and post purchase stages. SEM has been used to evaluate the theoretical model. The model supports a direct relationship between attitude and social media. Also, direct relationship was supported between attitude and different stages of decision making process. Furthermore, the relationship between attitude and information search, and attitude and post purchase behaviour was found to be significantly partially mediated by social media. Keywords

This research examines relationship between consumer personality traits comprising of extraversion, agreeableness, openness to experience, and conscientiousness and brand loyalty. Further, this relationship is tested by introducing a mediating variable namely Brand hate. Brand hate is the negative emotional effect of the consumer towards the brand. Convenience sampling was used to collect the primary data of the respondents. The study is carried out on a sample of 250 respondents. Theoretical model was tested through structural equation modelling using SPSS 24 and Amos 22. It is found that all personality traits variables studied have a direct relationship with brand loyalty. Mediation results indicate that brand hate fully mediates the relationship amongst extroversion-brand loyalty and conscientiousness-brand loyalty. Furthermore, partial mediation of brand hate exists between agreeableness-brand loyalty and openness to experience-brand loyalty. This research presents new perspectives for constructing a prudent model of consumer personality traits and brand loyalty by incorporating brand hate as the mediator. Findings, implications, and limitations are discussed towards the end of the paper. Keywords
