In public R&D institutions, project proposals are submitted by research groups to various government funded bodies for the external financial support. The pattern of funding against various research groups was analyzed in this paper using classification and regression tree (C&RT) technique. Creating an Institutional Repository (IR) for the protection of traditional Indian cuisines is explored, which would be a supplement to the existing traditional Indian cuisine database in CFTRI. An IR was created in order to bring the communities and practioners together interested in Indian Cuisines. A Traditional Knowledge Resource Classification (TKRC), similar to International Patent Classification (IPC) has been used for organizing and retrieval of the resources.Keywords

Intrusions pose a serious security problem in the network environment. Security of computer systems is very important to their utility and acceptance. Security in the network environment is maintained by monitoring the data. Security of a network also depends on the amount of data to be monitored. Unfortunately the available amount of network audit data instances is usually large that usually demands human labeling which is a tedious and time consuming task as well as proven to be expensive. To solve similar kinds of problems such as mentioned above, like the human interventions or high level of data biasing intrusion detection systems implement a suite of techniques that use data mining machine learning systems to identify the attacks against computers and network infrastructures. The suites of IDS techniques are widely discussed through out the paper.Keywords

According to the Article 51 A of the Indian Constitution, maintains that Environmental protection is the fundamental duty of every citizen of the country and states that: "it shall be the duty of every citizen of India to protect and improve the natural environment, including forests, lakes and wild life, and to have compassion for all living creatures." Now the question arises whether we being the citizens of India are actually abiding by the amendments and laws constituted by our nation? As per the topic, "Environmental Issues and Terrorism", the presentation focuses on the major environmental issues faced today and how it is linked with Terrorism (adverse an thropogenic activities) creating a whole new dimension which can be termed as environmental terrorism. As the population all over the world is increasing, the existing resource base is exploited more and more and is being consumed at an alarmingly faster rate. With this ever increasing socio-economic growth, our biodiversity is under serious threat so as to meet with the demands of the ever rising population. Further this paper points out on the advancement of the principle of sustainable development which is a sine quo non for the maintenance of symbiotic balance between man and nature. Considering the present day scenario, the paper is further substantiated with the help of two case studies. One of them emphasizes on the environmental challenges and human in security in the Himalayas while the other focuses on the displacement m Tribal areas. It also highlights on vital judicial and legislative doctrines which emphasis on the importance of sustainable development. It is our duty and privilege as social workers to protect and safeguard this rich and diverse resource o four nature so as top reserve it for the future generations to come.Keywords

Indian traditional foods are non-spatially mapped to different states and regions of the country. The mapping of region-wise cuisines on major food ingredient groups was carried out. Analysis was made towards exploring the dominant shared cuisines based on selected major ingredients in the intra- - regional states.
