Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has always been an integral part of the vision of the Mahindra Group and the cornerstone of their core value of Good Corporate Citizenship. The Group believes that CSR is an opportunity and a privilege. The Group's approach goes far beyond managing corporate image. CSR received a major boost in 2005 when the Group celebrated its 60th anniversary by pledging 1% of its annual profit after tax to social activities every year, as a way of thanking the nation and its stakeholders for 60 years of trust, reveals this case study.

Abstract

In prosthodontic treatment plan, decisions must be made regarding oral tissue rehabilitation and other necessary pre-prosthetic measures. The rehabilitation prostheses are very useful devices in the field of prosthodontics. It is essential that the mouth should be in an optimal state of health prior to commencing prosthetic treatment and failure to achieve this may produce an unsatisfactory treatment result. Depending on a variety of situations, the dentist may find it necessary to modify the patient's existing dentures or, occasionally, to construct a special appliance. This article deals with several preliminary (non-definitive) treatment options available along with a brief account of their rationale.

Abstract

Context: The aim of this study is to compare the one year clinical performance of three bulk fill restorative materials in posterior class I occlusal restorations. 20 patients received three class I with one of three bulkfill restorative resins. Sonicfill, Tetric Evoceram and Filtek bulkfill. All restorations were evaluated at baseline, at three, six, nine months, and one year after placement. Two calibrated examiners other than the operator were evaluated each restoration. Modified USPHS criteria was used to evaluate the restorations. The results were statistically insignificant. More studies need to be carried out and for a long period of time.
