The present study has been undertaken to assess the users' satisfaction of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Library, Coimbatore. Respondents satisfied with the Main Library services. The results reveals that the research oriented resources and the customized services like self arrangement, computers, printers, photocopy facilities have to be taken care of in the Library under study.

A simple, precise and accurate difference spectroscopic method has been developed for the estimation of lincomycin hydrochloride (LMH) in bulk and pharmaceutical dosage form. The proposed method is based on the measurement of absorbance of Lincomycin hydrochloride at maxima 209 nm and minima 220 nm. The measurement value is the amplitude of maxima and minima between two equimolar solutions of the analyte in different chemical forms, which exhibits different spectral characteristics. Since the drug was freely soluble in distilled water, a stock solution (1mg/ml) was prepared with distilled water. Further dilution was made by using 0.1N sodium hydroxide and phosphate buffer of pH6.8 separately. The maxima and minima in the difference spectra of lincomycin hydrochloride were at 209 nm and 220 nm, respectively. Difference in absorbance between these maxima and minima was calculated to find out the amplitude. This amplitude was plotted against concentrations. The drug obeyed the beer's law in the concentration range 5-25μg/ml and showed good correlation. The result of analysis was validated by recovery studies.Keywords

Protein malnutrition, a serious problem of people whose diet consists mainly of cereal or starch foods, has aroused keen interest in fortifying chapatis, acommon wheat recipe in India with protein-rich foods. Of the protein rich foods available, soyflour is most attractive in price, quality and quantity. Defatted soyflour has been extensively studied and recommended for such fortifying use in baked products. Kalitur is an indigenous black soy bean variety grown in Madhya Pradesh (M.P.) India for a long period. This native variety is marketed under the traditional names Bhatt, Kulthi, and Kalitur. The seeds are small in size as compared to yellow variety, Bragg. Being an indigenous material it has wide adaptability among the farmers of M.P. In this article, using the concept of natural density, we introduce the notion of Bernstein polynomials of rough λ−statistically and ρ−Cauchy triple sequence spaces. We define the set of Bernstein polynomials of rough statistical limit points of a triple sequence spaces and obtain to λ−statistical convergence criteria associated with this set. We examine the relation between the set of Bernstein polynomials of rough λ−statistically and ρ−Cauchy triple sequences.

This study was conducted to investigate the problems that hinder the utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-based electronic resources for the users of Research and development libraries. Four objectives and four research questions guided the study. A sampling technique was used in carrying out the work. The findings from this study on the problems of user’s use of ICT-based library resources in their research would be significant in the formulations of ICT-based library resources use policy. It will also show data on the problems hindering the utilization and strategies for enhancing ICT-based library resources in research.Keywords
