This paper considers a practical implementation of wireless control of electrical power stations, data acquisition based on multiple used sensors, and data acquisition based on multiple used sensors and protection devices. The system implementation depends on collecting data of different used sensors and controlled devices from the local power station then correlateing these data with stored ones, the result of correlation is transmitted to a remote station for observation and remote control. We use different types of microcontrollers, and MicroC compiler program for this operation.

This research is real practical simulator for the operation of Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) to be used for ship crew training purposes. The simulator is built with many features, recording and retrieving of all navigation sensors data in the ship including audio from the bridge, visual and audio alarm, moreover video from a normal or IR camera. Hardware was represented by several computers and software C++ builder 6 was used. The software can plot data onto charts, and produce a video replay of the recorded data on PCs. Adding to that the simulation system is an open architecture that can be developed using the software and hardware to represent and simulate a ship handling training system. The system can be developed to be used as trainer for the fault location. Moreover we can transmit the data in VDR plus the training scenario, and the evaluation of the training to the shore base via a suitable communication method.
