Aerobic nonfermenting gram-negative bacilli (nonfermenters) are a heterogeneous group of organisms that are either incapable of utilizing carbohydrates as a source of energy or degrade them via oxidative rather than fermentative pathway. These organisms are common inhabitants of soil and water. Nonfermenters can cause a vast variety of infections and account for approximately 15%of all Gram negative bacilli cultured from clinical specimens. Their infection are endogenous or exogenous origin, depending on several factor such as use of immunosuppressant substance, abusive use of wide spectrum antimicrobial agents, prolong surgical procedure and inadequate instrumentation. Pseudomonas cause endocarditis, osteomyelitis, urinary tract infections, gastrointestinal infections, meningitis, and, commonly septicaemia. Acinetobacter has emerged as an important nosocomial organism causing infectious outbreaks in critically ill patients leading to high mortality and morbidity. Burkholderia cepacia shows fast growth on immune-depleted patients - like cystic fibrosis patients (CFPs). Sphingomonas paucimobilis can produce biofilms or attach to preexisting biofilms, where they become integrated and survive for days. Most infections caused by nonfermenters have been nosocomial, often related to contamination of hospital equipment or fluids and have occurred in immunocompromised hosts. Non-fermenting Gram-negative bacilli are innately resistant to many antibiotics and are known to produced extrended spectrum β-lactmases and metallo β-lactmases. This review article highlights the different clinical conditions caused by the nonfermenters.Keywords

Today's world need vaccines for the prevention of infectious diseases, cancer therapy, and many more. Vaccines reduce the mortality rates in the world from infectious diseases such as measles, polio and diphtheria. The concept of vaccination is very old. Conventional vaccines are composed of Live or Attenuated microorganisms. But they may not be sufficient in current scenario, so further research is going on for development of vaccine which should be cost-effective and having specific immune responses. The current concept of vaccines is a challenge which could produce both humoral and cell-mediated immunity. Biofilm formation constitutes an alternative lifestyle in which microorganisms adopt a multicellular behavior that facilitates and/or prolongs survival in diverse environmental niches. Biofilms form on biotic and abiotic surfaces both in the environment and in the healthcare setting. In hospital wards, the formation of biofilms on vents and medical equipment enables pathogens to persist as reservoirs that can readily spread to patients. Inside the host, biofilms allow pathogens to subvert innate immune defenses and are thus associated with long-term persistence. This review describes the process of biofilm formation its composition and virulence and the role it plays in the pathogenisis of various infections mostly chronic. Use of the decorated text is highly preferable in the area where the attention of viewers is required. The basic optical recognition systems do not give good results for the decorated inputs because the formation of decorated text is complex and different from the other regular fonts. Very less work has been done in the field of decorated text and specially decorated words. In this paper algorithm has been designed which work for the recognition of decorated words. The proposed system uses the neural network for the recognition and consists of the following portion. First is Otsu's algorithm, then applying preprocessing, neural network and finally the matched decision is displayed.Keywords

The identification of an image acquisition device becomes a very important in digital image forensics. In this paper main focus is on identification of digital camera and provides a new approach of identification. As digital camera uses many components in image generation process such as lens, sensors, CFA (colour filter array) e.t.c. Each component has its unique characteristics that can be known as fingerprints. By extracting that fingerprint identification of digital camera can be done. In this paper identification is done on the basis of sensor noise and CFA unique characteristics. From sensor photo-response non-uniformity (PRNU) is considered because it was introduced by Luk´aˇs et al. [2] for identification of digital camera. So in this work PRNU (Photo Response Non Uniformity) and 12 features from CFA are used. Classification is done by using SVM classifier (Support Vector Machine). Experimental analysis shows that the proposed method has good potential for identification of digital camera.

Swarm Intelligence has nature inspired intelligence dependent on aggregate conduct of swarms having self-sorted out nature. Different techniques are being planned as far as ACO, PSO, Fish Swarm, Bats Swarm, Bacterial Foraging, TABU search and so forth.TABU search is regarded as heuristic method derived by Glover in 1986 depends on the memory structure. TABU search is used to determine the engineering design problems having continuous and real number variables. TABU is utilized to take care of different discrete issues in various regions of sciences and engineering. Since its advancement TABU has pulled in loads of specialists to take up its calculations and apply to take care of different complex issues and has been demonstrated the best strategy to get enhanced outcomes. The objective of this research paper is to implement TABU search to make the protocol more efficient and effective. This paper proposed MSEEC (multilevel stable and energy efficient clustering protocol) utilizing TABU mechanism in which normal nodes are randomly changed after each round in the territory of 200m×200m.The recreation is done under the MATLAB environment and observed the performance of TABU-MSEEC against MSEEC protocol on 4% increase in the case of first node dead (FND) and 20% increase in the case of last node dead (LND) and average remaining energy is delayed by 12% in advance nodes and 20% in super nodes respectively.Keywords

The present study was conducted with 16-18 years old adolescent boys and girls from Hisar city and two villages of Hisar district. These adolescents were selected from randomly selected four government senior secondary schools. Total sample constituted of 240 adolescents, 120 from rural area and 120 from urban area. These 240 adolescents included 120 boys and 120 girls. Youth Problem Inventory (YPI) developed and standardized by Verma (2004) was used to assess the youth problems among adolescents. Percentages and step-wise regression analyses were used to analyze the data. Majority of adolescents' fathers had education up to senior secondary level, while majority of mothers had education up to middle school level. Majority of adolescents belonged to lower income group followed by middle and high income groups. Adolescents were personally interviewed about their psycho-social problems. Results revealed that majority of adolescents from total sample experienced average level of family, school, social, personal and overall problems. Step-wise linear regression revealed that media exposure, family income and paternal education were significant predictors of youth problems.Keywords

In Swarm Intelligence, various techniques are being planned as far as ACO, PSO, Fish Swarm, Bats Swarm, Bacterial Foraging, TABU, GA search and so forth. TS and GA is a single algorithm that firstly creates a set of random valid solutions, and for several iterations it optimizes them using a TS-based method. Afterwards, it takes this set of optimized solutions as the initial population for the GA, and iterates until the adopted stop criteria have been met. The objective of this research paper is to implement TABU-GA search to make the protocol more efficient and effective. This paper proposed MSEEC (multilevel stable and energy efficient clustering protocol) utilizing TABU-GA mechanism in the territory of 200m×200m.The recreation is done under the MATLAB 2013 a environment and observed the performance of TABU-GA MSEEC against MSEEC protocol on 4% increase in the case of first node dead (FND) and 28% increase in the case of last node dead (LND).Keywords

The present study was conducted to optimize the food materials such as Dehulled Sunflower Meal (DSM) and Refined Wheat Flour (RWF) in flour blend for the preparation of muffins and to evaluate the storage stability of DSM incorporated muffins for 15 days storage at ambient as well as low temperature (4o C). Different experimental combinations were planned using response surface methodology (central composite design) of Design Expert software considering 10 to 40 g DSM and 60 to 90 g RWF. Different levels of RWF and DSM significantly influenced the instrumental colour (L, a, b values), nutritional quality, textural profile analysis and sensory acceptability of muffins. The nutritional and baking quality such as crude protein, total mineral content, iron and calcium, weight loss and height of baked muffins increased with increasing quantity of DSM. Optimized level of RWF and DSM consisted of 63.46 and 36.54%, respectively in flour blend showing overall desirability as 0.831. This muffin sample provided 11.72% crude protein, 2.24% total minerals, 143 mg/100g calcium and 4.55 mg/100 g iron with an overall acceptability score of 7.9 and can be stored for 9 days with good sensory acceptability.
