The Indian desert flora has an important place in the field of desert floristics , as it support western as well as eastern elements along with higher percentage of endemic plants. There are numerous plant species which are confined to western bulge of our country and are less known at this point of time in other areas. However species viz; Commiphora wightii (Gugal) and Tephrosia falciformis (Rati Biyani) are now under application in the field of medicine. Besides mitigating the ethno-medicinal needs of the desert peasantry , these species offer potential for conservation and optimum use in the field of medicines. The results of the present study clearly infer the possibilities of conservation of the some of the species investigated. However , detailed study on their physio-chemical composition would provide more information on the economic values of individual plant species. Efforts are continuing on investigation of many more species , which would provide valuable information on different aspects of conservation , and propagation of endemic species for better eco-environment in the extreme arid regions along with their medicinal value.- Effect of Seed Size and Sowing Depth on Germination and Seedling Growth of Colophospermum mopane (Kirk Ex Benth.) An experiment was conducted to determine the effect of sowing depth and seed size on germination and growth of Colophospermum mopane. Out of the three seed sizes and four depth of sowing large sized seed sown at 5 mm depth showed significant increase in mean germination per cent, daily germination, germination value, shoot/ischolar_main length and dry matter production than the other two type of seeds viz.,elongated small size and round shape seeds sown at deeper depth. The study revealed that shallow sowing depth and large seeds can be used for better nursery raising for this species- Controllability for the Nonlinear Fuzzy Neutral Integrodifferential Equations with Nonlocal Conditions

In this paper, we devoted study the controllability for the nonlinear fuzzy neutral integrodifferential equations control system in EN. Moreover we study the fuzzy solution for the normal, convex, upper semicontinuous, and compactly supported interval fuzzy number. The results are obtained by using the Banach Fixed point theorem. Keywords

This research paper mainly focuses on system architecture for smart healthcare using an advanced Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) and improving the efficiency of sensor to get the data immediately even there is patient in critical condition. It specifically targets assisted-living residents and others who may benefit from continuous, remote health monitoring. It focuses the advantages, objectives, and status of the design and multi-channel cluster clustering algorithm for increasing efficiency. An experimental living space has been constructed at the Lab for evaluation. Early results suggest a strong potential for WSNs to open new research perspectives for low-cost, ad hoc deployment of multimodal sensors for an improved quality of medical care and data retrieval time is very low.

The hypothesis of the paper is to focus on the useage of electronic resources and internet services provided by the Tamil Nadu self finance engineering college libraries. It also highlights the use of e-resources by faculty members and students of self financing engineering colleges in villupuram district. The purpose of seeking information, formal and informal sources used by faculty in searching the relevant information is studied in the paper. It also discuses frequency of their visit to the library and tools used for searching the information.

Objectives: The municipal solid waste management is a challenging task for local authorities. To manage this, a study was conducted in Kanchipuram municipality, Tamil Nadu, India. Methods/Statistical Analysis: Spatial database was prepared for the study area by using high-resolution satellite imagery. Non-spatial information like street name, road name, a nearby landmark, bin number and bin type were added in Geographical Information System (GIS). In this study modern technique like Global Positioning System (GPS), a communication system (GPRS and GSM), GIS and computer programming are integrated to assist the solid waste management. Findings: This integration may serve to overcome the conventional conflict in solid waste management within the municipal region. The proposed system consists multiple spatial information in the prepared digital database, like bin location (with reference to its latitude and longitude); ward details, onboard monitoring of bin strategy. Based on a study of smart bin usage in developed countries, new type smart bins with sensor arrangements are suggested. The solid waste strategy of each bin in each ward could be collected by monitoring authority through the GPRS and GSM technique which is fixed in the proposed bin. This developed system consists of the bin priority, strategy, and track location. This will serve for taking a decision by applying queries to the created database and also to enhance the solid waste management technique in Kanchipuram municipality. Application: This work proves incorporation of recent technique in municipal solid waste management will save both time and money. Keywords

A study was conducted to prepare a detailed development plan based upon extensive primary survey of the village and its environment by using the techniques of GPS, GIS and managed with the database management programming language. In this study the Village Potheri, is identified as a study area with an aerial extent of 2.86 km2 in Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu, India. Hand-held GPS instruments (1 m level accuracy), the x,y coordinates of points (longitude and latitude) features like houses, water taps, tube wells, street lights and linear features of roads and streets has been collected and converted into shape files and accessed in GIS. The basic essential requirements of land use / land cover (classified from LISS IV), soil, geology, geomorphology and etc., were also prepared thematic maps and non-spatial information also attached with respective thematic layers. The spatial and nonspatial data were connected with VB 6.0 platform (GIS database is considering as a back end and the VB is acted as front end tool) for managing and controlling the data within GIS platform. Through this platform an attempt has been made to generate a GPS and GIS based information model for adding/inserting, deleting and retrieving data from GIS database. For retrieving data different types of queries have been developed viz., query in terms of house number, person‘s name, street wise information and thematic map wise information with non-spatial data. Keywords
