Neural network is a system of programs and data structures that approximates the operation of the human brain. A neural network usually involves a large number of processors operating in parallel, each with its own small sphere of knowledge and access to data in its local memory Neural network is initially trained or fed large amounts of data and rules about data relationships. Neural networks use several principles like gradient-based training, fuzzy logic, genetic algorithms, and Bayesian methods. Neural networks are described in terms of knowledge layers, with general, more complex networks having deeper layers. Neural networks are used in forecasting applications and business classification applications due to their ability to “learn” from the data, their nonparametric nature and their ability to generalize. The comparative study on the algorithm is done in this paper.

A simple, precise, accurate and robust RP-HPLC-UV method was developed and validated for the determination of Linagliptinin tablet dosage forms. Reverse-phase chromatography was performed on Agilent (100 mm × 2.5 mm, 3μm) column of C18 HPLC with EZ Chrome software with UV detector. Methanol: water containing 0.1% ortho phosphoric acid (70:30) (v/v) was used as mobile phase at a flowrate of 0.8 mL min-1 with UV detection at 296 nm. Linearity was observed in the concentration range of 2.5- 15 μg mL-1 with correlation co-efficient (R2 = 0.999). The method was validated as per ICH guidelines. The RSD for intra-day (0.254) and inter-day (0.2449) precision were found to be less than 2 %. The percentage recovery was in good agreement with the labelled amount in the pharmaceutical formulations and the method is simple, precise, accurate and robust for the determination of Linagliptinin pharmaceutical dosage forms.Keywords

Investigation with the crude methanolic extract of Bougainvillea glabra carried out to evaluate its possible thrombolysis activity. Myocardial or cerebral infractions are the serious consequences in Atherothrombotic diseases leading to death and the side effects produced by consecutive use of thrombolytic agent like t-PA, Urokinase and streptokinase to treat these diseases has become a global concern. Extraction was carried out using Soxhlet apparatus. The crude methanolic extract was found to have significant thrombolytic activity at a dose of 800μ g/ml with a maximum effect comparable with Streptokinase as a positive control and water as a negative control.Keywords

The aim of the present study was to carry out powder analysis, fluorescence analysis, microscopic study, physico chemical analysis, total flavonoid and phenolic content and in vitro antiglycation studies for the leaf aqueous and alcoholic extracts of Hibiscus micranthus Linn. by serum albumin assay. The results of powder analysis indicated that the powder with ferric chloride solution showed mustard green colour, under UV powder with ferric chloride showed brown colour.The total ash value 75%w/w, acid insoluble ash 25%w/w, water soluble ash 35%w/w and sulphated ash 15%w/w respectively. The water soluble extractive value 2.2%w/w, alcohol soluble extractive 19.3%w/w and the result of loss on drying were found to be 9.33%w/w.The microscopic study observations were presence of stellate 3-4 armed trichomes, anisocytic stomata, mucilaginous parenchyma, lignified libiform xylem vessels and Ca.oxalate druse crystals. The leaf constant values include stomatal index of upper and lower epidermis to be 4.66, 4.15, palisade ratio 9, vein islet number 12, veinlet termination number to be 9.The length and width of xylem vessels to be 15.75μ, 117.62 μ. The length and width of trichomes was found to be 30.6 μ and 2.87 μ. The results of preliminary phytochemical screening showed the presence of alkaloids, tannins, phenolics, flavonoids, steroids, cardenolides, coumarin glycosides, reducing sugars, acidic compounds, inulin, waxes and reserpine.The total flavonoid content was more in methanolic extract 104±0.36 mg/g equivalents of rutin. The phenolic content was also more in methanolic extract 52.76±0.67 mg/g equivalents of rutin. The methanolic extract exhibited significant in vitro antiglycation activity at 1000 μg/ml 95.6%±0.0025 equivalent to standard drug rutin. Therefore the individual phytoconstituents from the extracrs can be further explored and studied for the activity.Keywords

It has very important practical significance to analyze and research minority costume from the perspective of computer vision for minority culture protection and inheritance. As first exploration in minority costume image retrieval, this Project proposed a novel image feature representation method to describe the rich information of minority costume image. Firstly, the color histogram and edge orientation histogram are calculated for divided sub-blocks of minority costume image. Then, the final feature vector for minority costume image is formed by effective fusion of color histogram and edge orientation histogram. Finally, the improved Canberra distance is introduced to measure the similarity between query image and retrieval image. We have evaluated the performances of the proposed algorithm on self-build minority costume image dataset, and the experimental results show that our method can effectively express the integrated feature of minority costume images, including color, texture, shape and spatial information. Compared with some conventional methods, our method has higher and stable retrieval accuracy.Keywords

The present study focused on the feeding efficiency of predatory spiders on aphid Myzus persicae (Sulzer). Under laboratory conditions, tetragnathid spiders showed significantly higher consumption rate followed by oxyopids and the least was observed with salticids and linyphiids. A significantly high overall consumption of prey by tetragnathid, oxyopid, salticid and linyphiid spiders was noticed with the treatment @ 10 prey (aphids)/ spider. These results indicate that even if the prey density increased, the consumption rate did not increase. In vitro survivability of lycosid and phalangiid group of spiders was merely 2 days, whereas spiders of other families survived 7-14 days.Keywords
