Phytodiversity studies were conducted on the flora of Kondapalli fort and surroundings in Krishna District (A.P.). The paper presents an account of the vegetation of Harishchandragarh, Maharashtra State, an interesting area unexplored since Dalzellās time (1861). Dicraea dichotoma (Gardn.) Tull, is collected for the first lime from Sahyadri ranges of Western ghats. A new verlety namely Abelmoschus manihot (L.) Medic, up. Utraphyllus (Roxb. ex Hornem.)
