This paper aims at designing a conceptual model for inter organizational cooperative workflows based on Bonita workflow model. Even though many workflow models have been proposed in the literature, Most of the models lack a sound deadlock detection and recovery mechanism. In virtual enterprise scenario where parallel activities from various participating organizations collaboratively work on accomplishing a common goal, there is often a chance for occurrence of dead lock. In this context, an algorithm for detecting possible deadlocks and recovering from it is designed in this paper. This paper also details the various modifications done to the Bonita work flow model so as to incorporate the newly designed algorithm. Keywords

Objective: This paper is a proposal for a prototype of an agricultural based robot capable of performing various farming activities like ploughing the field, sowing seeds, spraying fertilizers and shoving soil over the seeds. Method/Statistical Analysis: This autonomous robot has the capability of processing and monitoring field operations. Its operation is controlled using a PIC16F877A microcontroller. The robot is fed with inputs like field dimensions, spacing between the seeds and the tasks are performed accordingly. The alerts for shortage of seeds can be triggered by using tuning fork level switch. Findings: This model of the agricultural robot is cost effective and user friendly. The entire mechanical model has been created in AUTO CAD and verified. Further the electronics involved in the working of the robot has been simulated using PROTEUS. Applications/Improvements: The agrobot promises a future with maximum food productivity to meet the demand of growing population. Keywords

Taking the academic problems of tribal students in India as a case, this review paper attempts to critically evaluate the scope of existing theories of motivation to understand cross-cultural learning context and to join with the new approaches that are developing from the cultural-historical tradition in psychology. Initially, this paper discusses the motivational problems of tribal students as they engage in learning processes and then proceeds to enquire the scope of cultural-historical approach to motivation, and finally it engages these problems from the point of view of the proposed approach. Keywords
