Cloud computing provides vibrant enormous resources provisioned as computing service by means of on-demand services over the Internet. Current information technology increased their paces in emerging cloud computing systems and services. Though, despite the credible gains achieved from cloud computing, the security and privacy issues present a strong obstacle for users to acclimatize into cloud computing environment. However sharing of resources, cloud storage and its services are vulnerable to attacks, threats or failure it would bring irreparable losses to the users. This paper introduces an in-depth examination of vibrant audit control methods in cloud computing environment. It assesses the problem of security and privacy from the cloud architecture perspective, cloud delivery model and cloud deployment model viewpoint. The paper examined relatively a few of the key research confront of performing cloud-aware audit control mechanism and compliance exposition in terms of user management, service level agreement, access management, authentication management, authorization management, auditing and reporting services which can reasonably protected the dynamic cloud model. Based on this investigation it present a consequential widespread specification of cloud security and privacy crisis and major features that must be covered by proposed audit control method solution for the secure and exciting cloud computing.Keywords

Objectives: The main objective of this paper is smoothening of the power fluctuation of a variable speed PMSG wind generator with the help of Energy Capacitor System (ECS). ECS consists of a voltage source inverter, dc-dc converter and an ultra-capacitor bank including their control strategies. Methods/Analysis: In this paper two back-to-back voltage source Insulated Gate Biopolar Transistor (IGBT) converters controlled through highly efficient variable frequency drive control method is considered. By using this method, efficiency of wind farm can be improved and voltage regulation for interconnecting the wind farm with grid can be achieved. Findings: Recent application of power electronic devices and scaling up of MegaWatt (MW) wind turbines, Low-speed high torque Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) has become the ultimate choice for wind power extraction. At present, a commercial PMSG based wind generator primarily makes use of a rectifier followed by an IGBT converter. Novelty /Improvement: The real power reference for ECS is generated accurately. Objectives: Aluminum Matrix Composites (AMCs) are considered as a distinct category of the advanced materials, which have superior strength, light weight and good wear resistance. Methods/Statistical Analysis: In the present study, Al6082 is chosen as matrix material and Titanium Oxide (TiO2) particles as reinforcement. Aluminum-TiO2 composites reinforced with various weight percentages (0, 3, 6 and 9 wt. %) were produced by semi-solid state compo casting route. The microstructure of fabricated composites and monolithic alloys were examined by Optical Microscope (OP). Hardness and Ultimate Tensile Strength (UTS) of the produced composites were investigated. Findings: The test results show that the mechanical behaviors of the fabricated composites are enhanced by increasing the Titanium Oxide content. The UTS and hardness of the produced composite enhanced with the addition of higher percentage of TiO2. Application/Improvements: The mechanical performances of the Al-TiO2 AMCs are higher than that of the base monolithic alloy.Keywords

Objectives: To provide a secured and efficient solution for end users to access their personal files in the cloud servers using biometric authentication. Methods/: In this Minutiae Map (MM) algorithm is implemented for processing fingerprint based authentication. The user personal files are stored in free public multiple cloud storages namely Dropbox and CloudMe using splitting and merging techniques. RC4 algorithm is used to improve the security in cloud environment. Cross site request forgery (CSRF) and Cross site scripting (XSS) prevention techniques are used to provide security against cloud attacks. Findings: This study analyses that MM algorithm is the best accurate fingerprint feature extraction algorithm compared to Orientation Map, Gabor Filter and core point detection techniques. The proposed approach measures the user personal files upload time in cloud servers namely Dropbox and CloudMe. The study also analyses the presence of CSRF and XSS attacks in the application. Applications/ Improvements: The proposed system can be improvised involving preventive measures for more security threats and integrating other biometric authentications.Keywords

Background: Cloud computing provides access to a large scale of resources. Access control is the indispensable requirement for protecting cloud resource. A cloud service provider is responsible for enforcing access control and they normally rely upon conventional access control mechanisms. Methods: These access control policies, consider the access control primitives in separation which may lead to abuse of access control. These aforesaid problems motivated our research to center around the provision of access control by considering the association among the three access control primitives namely the user making access request, resource upon which access is requested and operation performed by the user on the resource. Hence Ontology Centric Access Control (OCAC) is being proposed in this paper. Findings: This OCAC circulates authorization rules among the primitives of access control say subject, object and action by reducing the various associations among the associations among the access control elements; it is observed that there is less chance for security violation. Ontology is used since it reduces the times of agreement while exchanging the authorization policies across the security domains. For reducing the number of statements and rules in policy base, subsumption property is used. This reduces the space and time complexity. Applications/Improvements: We are applying our work to protect bank data as banks are embracing clouds to store huge data by cutting their IT costs.Keywords

Objectives: Business to Consumer (B2C) E-Commerce activities are developed with a large number through agent-based systems. Case Based Reasoning (CBR) has been applied in these systems by analyzing the consumer buying behavior to provide consumers, a support to the decision making process. Analysis: Current applications of CBR to E-Commerce are limited to fixed, unchangeable products. To make the environment support for configurable products, an interactive operator based customization approach from CBR can be applied. Findings: In this work, to make the process more reliable and efficient, real time data from provisional stores has been taken and the system is trained to predict the consumer buying behavior along with CBR to pave way for a consumer to make a better decision making process. Applications/ Improvements: This work also applies big data concepts in predicting the behavior of the consumers. It thereby also led the customers to mine about their preferences in purchasing necessary products.Keywords

This paper represents a new topology 15 level asymmetric multilevel inverter with HYBRID PWM strategy. Multilevel inverter is triggered using hybrid PWM strategy. It includes Phase Disposition (PD) strategy, Alternate Phase Opposition Disposition (APOD) strategy and Carrier Overlapping (CO) strategy. The performance measures like Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), VRMS (fundamental), crest factor, form factor and distortion factor are evaluated for various modulation indices. Simulation is performed using MATLAB-SIMULINK.

Use of plant growth promoting bacteria for seed treatment is in trend nowadays as it is beneficial to the plants and environment. But, carrier-based inoculants have short shelf life and difficult to use for large quantities of seed. Therefore, in the present study we used liquid microbial cultures for seed infusion in pigeonpea and assessed their compatibility with seed treating chemicals. The results showed that the soaking of pigeonpea seeds in liquid cultures like pink pigmented facultative methylotroph (PPFM) @ 1 : 100 dilution for 3 h or Rhizobium or phosphobacteria @ 1 : 50 dilution for 4 h have showed increased germination and vigour. In the microbial infused seeds, Rhizobium (13 × 104 cfu g–1 of seed) and phosphobacteria (20 × 104 cfu g–1 of seed) populations observed, were slightly reduced during three months storage. Nevertheless, the population was drastically reduced in PPFM (11 × 104 to 2 × 104 cfu g–1 of seed). Conversely, PPFM has performed better in seed quality enhancement amongst cultures. Also, consortia of Rhizobium @ 1 : 50 dilution + PPFM @ 1 : 100 dilution (1 : 1) for 3 h increased seed vigour with better microbial populations (14 × 104 and 2 × 104 cfu g–1 of seed). Also, seed infusion with PPFM liquid culture @ 1 : 100 dilution for 3 h followed by polymer coating @ 5 ml kg–1 + carbendazim treatment @ 2 g kg–1 of seed recorded increased germination and vigour with the PPFM population of 1 × 104 cfu g–1 of seed.Keywords

An experiment was conducted using jamun to assess the physiology of seedless fruit formation. Seedless jamuns have higher content of gibberellic acid (GA3) (0.876 mg g-1) than seeded fruits (0.461 mg g-1) produced in the seedless genotype. Consequently, GA3 at 100 ppm was sprayed over the jamun trees that resulted in 99.5% seedless fruit production, which was higher than the unsprayed control (72.6%). Also, the application of GA3 at 300 ppm resulted in 36.4% seedless fruit formation in the seeded genotype. In corroboration with embryo abortion by GA3, the fruits sprayed with the latter at 100 ppm were analysed for their GA3 content. The results indicated that GA3 content was highest (5.609 mg g-1) in these fruits when compared to control (0.683 mg g-1)Keywords
