- Studies on Cylindrocladium clavatum - the Cause of Seedling Disease of Eucalyptus hybird

C. clavatum is reported as the cause of ischolar_main disease of E. hybrid. In the inoculated soil the seedling started willing after 5-6 days of transplantation and all the seedlings were killed within three weekss of transplation. Symptoms on the incoulated seedlings are described. The cultural character of the fungus on PDA, rapeseed agar, malt extract agar and Czapeks (dox) agar are given. Growth of the fungus was maximum on rapeseed agar and Czapeks (dox) agar and minimum on malt extract agar. The pathogen was also found associated with seed of E. hybrid, Eleven fungicides were evaluated by food poison technique. All the treatments were better than control. Aggalot was the most effective followed be Thiram and Vitavax, while Cuman-L was the least effective.- Studies on the Micellar Behaviour of Binary Surfactant Systems: Sodium Oleate + Alcohol Oxyethylates
