In this study, we focus on liver lesion Segmentation from ultrasound images using Region Growing algorithm with texture features parameters on spatial information. Segmentation of Ultrasound liver lesion is very challenging due to low contrast nature of image and occurrence of speckle noise. Liver cancer is the fifth most common cancer worldwide in men and eighth in women, and is one of the few cancers still on the rise. The goal of our study is that Region growing with texture parameters in gray space map on spatial information algorithm is supporting better for segmenting ultrasound liver lesion. Keywords

A reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) method has been developed for the estimation of Dexibuprofen in bulk drug and pharmaceutical dosage forms. The quantification was carried out on Waters Symmetry C18 column in isocratic mode, with mobile phase consisting of Acetonitrile and water in the ratio of 55:45%(v/v), adjusted to pH 2.5 with orthophosphoric acid. The mobile phase was pumped at a rate of 1.5mL/min and detection was carried out at 214nm and linearity was found to be in the range of 40 to 160μg/mL. The correlation co-efficient was found to be 0.9991. The % recovery values were found to be in the range of 99.0 to 102%. Validation of the proposed method has also been done. Keywords

A simple, accurate and specific UV spectrophotometric method was developed and validated for the estimation of Darifenacin hydrobromide in bulk and tablet dosage form. Analyte showed the absorption maxima in 0.1M Hydrochloric acid at 284nm. The percentage recovery of Darifenacin Hydrobromide was 99.69±0.14%. The developed method was validated with respect to linearity, accuracy, precision and specificity. Beer's law was obeyed in the concentration range of 20.00μg/mL to 46.50μg/mL, having line equation y=0.059x+0.0177 with correlation coefficient of 0.999. Results of the analysis were validated statistically as per ICH guidelines. Keywords

There are number of potential applications of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) like wild habitat monitoring, forest fire detection, military surveillance etc. All these applications are constrained for power from a stand along battery power source. So it becomes of paramount importance to conserve the energy utilized from this power source. A lot of efforts have gone into this area recently and it remains as one of the hot research areas. In order to improve network lifetime and reduce average power consumption, this study proposes a novel cluster head selection algorithm. Clustering is the preferred architecture when the numbers of nodes are larger because it results in considerable power savings for large networks as compared to other ones like tree or star. Since majority of the applications generally involve more than 30 nodes, clustering has gained widespread importance and is most used network architecture. The optimum number of clusters is first selected based on the number of nodes in the network. When the network is in operation the cluster heads in a cluster are rotated periodically based on the proposed cluster head selection algorithm to increase the network lifetime. Throughout the network single-hop communication methodology is assumed. This work will serve as an encouragement for further advances in the low power techniques for implementing Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs).Keywords

Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a collection of nodes that can be rapidly deployed as a multi-hop network without the aid of any centralized administration. Misbehavior is challenged by bandwidth and energy efficient medium access control and fair share of throughput. Node misbehavior plays an important role in MANET. In this survey, few of the contention window misbehavior is reviewed and compared. The contention window cheating either minimizes the active communication of the network or reduces bandwidth utilization of a particular node. The classification presented is in no case unique but summarizes the chief characteristics of many published proposals for contention window cheating. After getting insight into the different contention window misbehavior, few of the enhancements that can be done to improve the existing contention window are suggested. The purpose of this paper is to facilitate the research efforts in combining the existing solutions to offer more efficient methods to reduce contention window cheating mechanisms. Keywords
