<p>Methodology: This was an experimental study of 30 stroke patients having first ever unilateral stroke.
All the subjects were enrolled in identical subgroup and divided into two equal group one experimental
and another control group. Experimental group did balance training with obstacle ambulation training
and control group performed balance training.
We assessed the Dynamic balance with Dynamic Gait Index and walking endurance with Six Minute
Walk Test (6MWT) and tried to find out the additional effect of obstacle ambulation training on
walking ability for ambulant stroke subjects.</p>
<p>Results: Result shows that, both the group improved significantly but obstacle ambulation training
group improved much better than balance training group</p>
<p>Conclusions: Balance training with obstacle ambulation training is more effective as compare to the
balance training on walking ability for stroke patients.</p>

Purpose: To determine the effectiveness of Neuromuscular electrical stimulation combined with Cryotherapy on spasticity and hand function in patients with spastic Cerebral Palsy. Children with CP often demonstrate poor hand function due to spasticity in wrist and finger flexors.Methodology: This was an experimental study of 30 spastic CP patients aged 5-15 yr with mild to moderate spasticity. All the subjects were divided into two groups (A & B) with equal subject number in each group. Group A were treated with passive stretching, cryotherapy followed by Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) and Group B treated with passive stretching and cryotherapy, 3 times a week on alternate days for 6 weeks. Spasticity and hand function were assessed pretreatment and post treatment using the Modified Ashworth Scale (MAS) and Manual Ability Classification System (MACS). We tried to find out the additional effect of NMES on spastic CP patients.
Results: Showed that both the group improved significantly but group A improved much better than group B.
Conclusions: This study suggests that NMES combined with cryotherapy is more effective as compared to cryotherapy alone in reducing spasticity and improving hand function in spastic CP patients.

Purpose: The goal of this study is to determine the efficacy of task related circuit training on functional mobility and balance in children with spastic diplegic type of cerebral palsy.Methodology: This was an experimental study of 30 children with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy having a GMFM level of I or II. All the subjects were enrolled in an identical subgroup and divided into two equal groups (15 patient in each group) one experimental and another control group. Experimental group did task oriented circuit training while control group performed conventional exercise program. We assessed the Functional mobility of lower extremity and balance of all patients by Timed Up and Go test and Pediatric balance scale respectively.
Results: Result shows that both the groups improved significantly but task oriented circuit training group improved more than the conventional training group.
Conclusions: This study suggests that task oriented circuit training is more effective as compared to the conventional training for the functional mobility and balance in spastic diplegic cerebral palsy children.

The NREGA addresses itself chiefly to working people and their fundamental right to live with dignity. The success of the NREGA, however, will depend on people's realization of the Act as a right. The issues involved in empowering workers are in the range of enhancement of knowledge levels, development of literacy skills and organizing workers. Enhancing social security levels of workers also needs to be considered. Another important task is to link NREGA with other developmental programmes. Empowerment of workers and creation of durable assets depend, in terms of their strategies, to a great extent on the linkages between NREGA and other development programmes. Linkages with human development programmes such as the National Rural Health Mission and the National Literacy Mission are needed to ensure basic human entitlements to workers that in turn will enhance their capacity to negotiate their rights under the Act. Linkages with other livelihood and infrastructure initiatives need to be considered for sustainable employment. The thrust of NREGA is on strengthening the natural resource base of livelihood. Initiatives for natural resource management also need to be dovetailed with income generation projects to enable workers to move from wage employment to self-sustaining employment. In addition to this, there is a need to improve the technological options for performances and monitoring.Keywords

Purpose: The goal of this study is to find out the effect of task oriented training on hand functions in stroke patients.
Methodology: This was an experimental study of 30 stroke patients with unilateral involvement, with paresis of hand. All the subjects were enrolled in identical subgroup and divided into two equal groups (15 patient in each group) one control group (A) and another experimental group(B). Experimental group receive task oriented training and control group receive conventional physiotherapy training. We assessed the hand functions (Gross and Fine manual dexterity) by Box and Block test and Nine hole peg test respectively and tried to find out the additional effect of task oriented training on hand functions.
Results: Result shows that, both the group improved significantly but task oriented training group improved much better than conventional training group.
Conclusions: This study suggests that task oriented is more effective as compare to the conventional training for the hand functions in stroke patients.

Purpose: The Purpose of the Study is to See the Effectiveness of a 12 Week Physiotherapeutic Intervention to Improve the Handwriting Quality of School Going Children.
Methodology: This Study is a Randomized Clinical Trial of 60 School Going Children who have Handwriting Problem as Diagnosed with Handwriting Proficiency Screening Questionnaire (hpsq). the 60 Subjects are than Randomly Divided into 2 Groups, Group a (intervention Group) which Consists of a Set of Physiotherapeutic Exercises and Group B (ergonomic Advice) . the Handwriting Quality was Evaluated Using Minnesota Handwriting Assessment (mha).
Results: The Results of the Present Study Showed that both the Groups Showed Significant Improvement but the Group Receiving 12 Week Physiotherapeutic Intervention Showed more Significant Improvement.
Conclusion: Finally it can be Concluded that a well Planned Physiotherapeutic Program can Help to Improve the Handwriting Quality of School Going Children over a Short Period of Time and thus Help the Child to Improve his Self-confidence and his Academic Results.

An investigation entitled economic analysis of cost and returns of Basmati rice in Jammu district of J&K state was conducted in Basmati grown two different development blocks of Jammu district (R. S. Pura and Bishnah) during the agricultural year 2011-12. Four villages from each block were selected randomly. Further, from each village, 10 farmers were selected randomly, so as to constitute a total sample size of 80. Primary data on costs and returns of the Basmati was done by interviewing the farmers with the help of specially structured and pretested schedule and by visiting growers. The per hectare total costs of cultivation (cost-C2) of Basmati rice worked out to be Rs. 34107.21, Rs. 36895.48, Rs. 39414.98 and Rs. 40517.49 in case of marginal, small, medium and large farms, respectively, with an overall average farms of Rs. 38199.29 while as the respective cost A1, cost A2,cost B1, cost B2 and cost C1were Rs. 17876.26, Rs. 17876.26, Rs. 19363.48, Rs. 28521.21 and Rs. 24949.48 in case of marginal farms, Rs. 20305.58, Rs. 21745.58, Rs. 22469.84, Rs. 32691.48 and Rs. 26673.84 for small farms, Rs. 21804.10, Rs. 25004.10, Rs. 24622.52, Rs. 36183.98 and Rs. 27853.52 for medium farms, and Rs. 23094.17, Rs. 26694.17, Rs. 26315.43, Rs. 38287.49 and Rs. 28545.43 for large farms and on an average of overall farms were Rs. 20610.69, Rs. 23410.69, Rs. 22972.38, Rs. 34259.83 and Rs. 26911.84, respectively. The overall per hectare returns of Basmati rice were Rs. 53869.00, Rs. 53585.83, Rs. 53462.04, Rs. 54118.08 for marginal, small, medium and large farms with an average of overall farms was Rs. 53684.06. IntroductionCerebral palsy is a static neurologic condition resulting from brain injury that occurs before cerebral development incomplete. Hand impairments are related to the manual ability. Hand impairments are not rare in the cerebral palsy but they are not considered significantly. We assessed the hand impairments in relation to manual ability amongst Cerebral palsy children who were spastic diplegics and quadriplegics.
Material and MethodsThirty cerebral palsy children were assessed. Hand impairments included grip strength, fine finger dexterity, gross manual dexterity and these were assessed by hydraulic hand handle dynamometer, pegboards and box and block test respectively. Manual ability was assessed by Abilhand kid’s questionnaire. All the subjects according to the inclusion criteria were included in the study. One time assessment was taken. For the grip strength and fine finger dexterity three readings were taken and average of these three readings was taken as the final score. For box and block test single reading was taken. Spasticity was assessed by the Modified Ashworth Scale. Results were calculated by using Pearson’s correlation.

Study Design: Pre test Post test Study Design
Objectives: To evaluate the effect of dual task training under fixed and variable priority instructions set in institutionalized elder adults with balance impairment.
Background: Previous trials have investigated the effect of dual task training in community dwelling elderly population. No clinical trial examining the effect of this type of training under fixed and variable priority instructions set in institutionalized elder adults with balance impairment has been reported in the literature.
Method: 30 Institutionalized elderly patients with balance impairment were assigned in to 2 groups. The group A received Dual Task Training with fixed priority Instruction set while group B received Dual Task Training with Variable priority Instruction set. Both groups received the selected treatment over a 4 week periods. Outcome measures were evaluated at baseline, 2nd week and 4th week.
Results: The study shows significant improvement in balance of the elderly population following dual task training under fixed and variable priority instruction set. But improvement is more marked under variable priority instruction set.
Conclusion: The research hypothesis which states that there will be more improvement in balance trained with variable priority instruction set than fixed priority in elderly population with balance impairment has been accepted.

There are many facets of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), which provoke research interest. One of the major being routing protocol, i.e. the task of transmitting data from source node to sink node. SPIN (Sensor Protocols for Information via Negotiation) being one of them, which efficiently disseminates information among sensor node in an energy-constrained wireless sensor network. Although in time constrained operation like war zone it is not suited because it take much more time to deliver information among sensor node, also it consume more energy to broadcast data among sensor node that results energy drain faster and node dead quickly. Hence we proposed a modified version of SPIN routing protocol with network being formed using clustering technique, called Cluster Based SPIN (CB-SPIN) routing protocol. For simulation of both protocols SPIN and CB-SPIN, MATLAB platform is used and result show that CB-SPIN gives better performance in terms of time and energy.Keywords

Objectives: Diabetic is one of the most venerable disease spreading in the world, it will caused due to hereditary and also due to lack of diet. But if we analyze this disease then we can find some fact from the symptoms. Using these facts we can make a predicting model to predict the diabetic disease. By using this model the prediction of the diabetic will be easier and lots of benefits can be provided to the humanity. By sharing the information we extract from our model to the government will help the government for making the welfare program for the citizens. Method and Analysis: In this paper we have taken the sample of Pima Indian diabetic dataset which is having the 768 samples. So first of all that dataset will be given as input to hive so as to convert it into a formatted dataset. Then we will apply few queries on the formatted dataset in order to extract the useful information. Then we use the R tool in order to perform the statically analysis for generating the graph and also for calculating gini index and developing the prediction model, and efficiency of the model is also found. Findings: In our paper we have performed few queries on the diabetic dataset using hive such as finding the distinct values from the table and by finding it we can analyze the different attributes of the table and also time taken for analysis can also be calculated by default which is one of the positive points of using the hive. Then we will be using the r tool for statically analysis, as we all know picture speaks more than the word so by using the graph generated by r tool we can analyze the dataset easily and fast as compared to going through each rows of the dataset. We calculate gini index for attributes in order to find the inequality among the values using r tool. We also make the prediction model using KNN algorithm and we also find the accuracy of our model. These all things done by the use of r tool, which makes it simpler and also make the method easy to understand by the user to make prediction model and to calculate the efficiency of the model. By using the prediction model we can find the number of sample predictions made correctly. Improvements: We can improve the paper by doing the operations performed on large dataset such as millions of dataset in order to make paper more efficient. Our project efficiency is about 79% which can further be improved.Keywords

The presence of log house in agro-tourism is one of type of attraction to the tourists to come for agro-tourism. The tourists come for tourism and they stay in log house. The main advantage of a log house is a healthy living environment. The log house is made up with the locally available wood or light weight wood. The demand for wooden products is continuously increasing day by day. Wood is exposed to both periodic water absorption and desorption process. Understanding water absorption and desorption in wood are of practical importance since they also affect the mechanical properties of the product. In residential building and in industrial application some of the components are often wood (Ostman, 1985). For the purpose of the study, Agro-tourism for farmers is considered as a range of activities, services and amenities provided by farmers and rural people to attract tourist to their area in order to generate extra income for their businesses. Agro-tourism for tourists is considered as anything that connects tourists with the heritage, natural resource or culinary experiences unique to the agricultural industry or a specific region of the country's rural areas. Job Insecurity is emerging as a growing threat to the careers of aspiring, meritious and hardworking employees in our country due to various reasons such as high demand of jobs, and government's inability to meet such a high demand in a short period of time. This results in hiring of employees on temporary/contractual basis. This situation is especially bad among the teachers belonging to various government schools and colleges in Delhi. This research investigated emotional responses of Job Insecurity in terms of Turnover Intentions and lesser Organizational Commitment. Moderating role of Work Based Support for the proposed relations was also investigated. A sample of 110 temporary/contractual/ad-hoc teachers belonging to MOD schools and several colleges from a university was used for this study. 'Partial Least Square' technique of 'Structural Equation Modeling' was applied using 'SmartPLS 2.0.M3' to understand the proposed relationships. Results show that a feeling of Job Insecurity is responsible for both the Turnover Intention and lesser commitment towards the employing organization. Work Based Support was found to be a significant moderator for this relation, with employees receiving high Work Based Support found to be more capable of handling their emotional responses. Organizational implications have been suggested.Keywords

Wood is one of the earth’s most valuable resources and it conforms to the most varied requirement. There are over 1600 different species of woods which are used for various purposes. Wood shows a remarkably wide range of variation in their properties, timber and the type of end use (Rajput and Shukla, 1996). Wood is a multiuse biological raw material with a high economic importance for a number of industrial sectors such as construction, furniture and the packing industry. It is much more variable than that of materials such as concrete or metal (Michael, 2016). Global production of wood is estimated at 3469 million m3 in 2011, of which 1891 million m3 is fuel wood and 1578 million m3 is industrial round wood. Wood is a natural, renewable and valuable construction material. Since being thought of as naturally resistant to wood degrading organisms. Wood has been used as a shelter and has many outdoor applications thought out human history. However, the durability of wood varies depending on its tree species, chemical composition and the environmental condition. Wood biodegradation occurs in different ways such as fungal, bacterial and insect attack. Fungal decay is the most widespread type of wood degradation. The demand for wooden products is continuously increasing day by day. Wood is exposed to both periodic water absorption and desorption process. Understanding water absorption and desorption in wood are of practical importance since they also affect the mechanical properties of the product. In residential building and in industrial application some of the components are often wood (Ostman, 1985). To develop buildings and its components different engineering properties are important. In the present study, the bending stress of ain was found as 5.67 × 107 kN/m2 and compression stress was found as 1.3×107 kN/m2.Keywords

Involvement of Private sector partners (PSPs) in service provisioning gained momentum in many states in many states in India. National rural health mission (NRHM) announced in 2005, institutionalise the PPPs through its strategy to achieve health goals in the country. Since its implementation in Bihar, a large number of PSPs engaged with the state to provide clinical and non-clinical services. One of the reasons behind multiple partnerships in the health sector in Bihar is the inadequate public sector. Radiology services are one of them, which was started in 2006-07 and continued till date. There are multiple private actors engaged with the government to provide radiology services from public health facilities across Bihar.
The paper highlighted different models adopted by the government to engage PSPs for radiology services. Moreover, the article attempted to identify several challenges and opportunities of engaging PSPs in a particular context. The study adopted qualitative research design and data was collected in four health facilities of Patna district in the year 2012-13, revisited by the researcher in 2015-16. The study adopted purposive sampling. The primary data accessed through open-ended semi-structured indepth interviews conducted with health administrators. Secondary data were also used extensively to substantiate the primary data. Some major findings of the study include local contracting is more effective in comparison to centralised contracting. The other important findings of the study weak public sector have an opportunity to utilise National Health Mission (NHM) resources to strengthen its position against the private sector. Finally, weak monitoring and regulation of PSPs weaken the objectives underlined in the contractual agreement. A pragmatic approach needed in the engagement of PSPs to take care of needs of the public sector and its population.
