Discharge of untreated domestic wastewater often leads to eutrophication of receiving water body and create a septic condition, and accelerate sewage sickness in case of land-disposal. However, since domestic wastewater is recognized as nutrient rich water, the recovery of nutrients using a chemical precipitation and crystallization technique may provide value added product struvite, which is a slow releasing fertilizer. This research work shows the techno-feasibility struvite precipitation as an attempt for improving water quality, with simultaneous recovery of struvite as byproduct.Keywords

This paper presents an efficient and reliable Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm for solving Reactive power optimization including voltage deviation in Power System. Voltage deviation is the capability of a power system to maintain up to standard voltages at all buses in the system under standard conditions and under being subjected to a disturbance. Reactive power optimization is a complex combinatorial programming problem that reduces power loses and improves voltage profiles in a power system. To overcome this shortcoming, a multi objective PSO is proposed and applied in reactive power optimization on IEEE-30 bus, Here the RPO problem has been formulated as a constrained multi-objective optimization problem by combining of two objective functions (real power loss and voltage profile improvement) linearly shows that the PSO more effectively solve the reactive power optimization problem in power system.Keywords

To control the reactive power, voltage regulation is very difficult in power system from aspects of load compensation. Reduce the power losses and voltage improvement as main aim to compute best setting of shunt devices such as shunt capacitors, SVC, tap changing transformers etc., in power system, when load will gradually increased, then automatically voltage is not maintain reference value due inductive load and energy storage elements. In this paper proposed reduce the power losses and improve voltage profile by using SVC and , switched capacitors with co-ordination have been included in the system. The proposed system has been validated to 9-bus test system considered.

Objective: To design and analyze the student formula car roll cage by using analytical method. Method/Analysis: In this method the analysis is based on the dynamic loads applied on the roll cage through the conditions of normal driving, along with torsion rigidity of the roll cage. Roll cage can absorb high energy impacts at the same time as controlling the rate of deceleration. Finding: The effect of analytical calculations are used in designing student formula SAE car roll cage, with the recommendations made that the mild steel and carbon-fiber skins on a tabular space frame. Application/ Improvements: The proposed analysis paves a path of reference for design and analysis of student formula car roll cage.Keywords
