Developing countries all over the world face a multitude of challenges in overcoming various barriers and providing access to oral health care services to the rural and remote population. These areas are maximally affected in achieving oral health care, due to shortage of manpower, resources and distance from established dental set-ups. This study was carried out with the primary purpose of understanding the impact of accessibility to dental schools on the oral health status and oral hygiene awareness of a sample population. A total of 374 subjects were evaluated in the age range of 9-11yr, 12-13 yrs and 14- 15 yrs, out of which 187 subjects having access to dental schools were assessed for various parameters and compared to an equal number of age matched controls living far away from dental schools. Results showed a poorer oral health status and oral hygiene awareness amongst the children residing far away from dental schools as compared to those residing near dental schools. Age wise comparisons indicated a poorer oral hygiene amongst the 14-15 year olds with a higher treatment need as compared to the younger age groups.Keywords

A simple and rapid spectrophotometric dual wavelength method has been developed for simultaneous estimation of amlodipine besylate and valsartan in tablet dosage form. Two wavelengths selected were 227 and 244nm, for estimation of valsartan and 360 nm for amlodipine besylate using methanol as a solvent. Both the drugs obeyed Beer-Lambert's law over the concentration range 5-100μg/ml and 5-50μg/ ml for valsartan and amlodipine besylate. The r2 for valsartan and amlodipine besylate were 0.9982 and 0.9973 with mean percent recovery of 100.23 and 99.66 respectively. The Relative standard deviations for validation parameters were found to be less then the 5%.Keywords

Multiconstraints optimal network load balancing is an NP-hard problem and it is an important part of traffic engineering. In this research we balance the network load using classical method (brute force approach and dynamic programming is used but result shows the limitation of this method) but at a certain level we recognized that the optimization of balanced network load with increased number of nodes and demands is intractable using the classical method because the solution set increases exponentially. In such case the optimization techniques like evolutionary techniques can employ for optimizing network load balance. In this paper we analyzed proposed classical algorithm and evolutionary based genetic approach is devise as well as proposed in this paper for optimizing the balance network load.Keywords

The involvement of various systems with Covid-19 manifestation ranging from asymptomatic to sudden cardiac arrest have been reported. Cardiovascular complications are the most dreadful ones as they can lead to further decompensation of patient and decrease the chances of recovery. Arrhythmic tendencies increase with the severity of covid illness. More frequently are the tachyarrhythmias including atrial fibrillation, sinus tachycardia and ventricular ectopic. We report such a case of covid induced high-grade atrioventricular block that was transient with spontaneous recovery after the waiting period.Keywords

Insulating materials subjected to electrical and thermal-electrical stresses exhibit life line characteristics which show a tendency to reach an electrical threshold. Their fit is investigated with reference to several sets of data derived from accelerated life tests performed on different insulating materials.
Life line models provide the estimates of failure time percentiles at selected probabilities and stresses so that life curves at fixed failure probabilities can be drawn. These characteristics should help in the choice of compatible thermal and electrical stresses for the design of insulation systems, apparatus and components.
The tests to be conducted to plot the characteristic curves involve Class B insulation (up to 8 specimens) under three active stress levels. Subsequently, using the data acquired, the Weibull probability distribution curves are plotted using STATISTICA software.
