The aim of present study was to formulation and evaluation cream comprising extracts of natural products such as Ocimum sanctum and Daucus carota. Different types of formulations oil in water (O/W) herbal creams namely F1 to F3 were formulated by incorporating in cream base. The evaluations of all formulations (F1 to F3) were done on different parameters like pH, viscosity, spreadibilty and stability were examined. Formulations F1 and F2 showed good spreadibilty, good consistency, homogeneity, appearance, pH, spreadibilty, no evidence of phase separation and ease of removal. The formulation F1 and F2 shows no redness, edema, inflammation and irritation during irritancy studies. These formulations are safe to use for skin. These studies suggest that composition of extracts and base of cream of F1 and F2 are more stable and safe, it may produce synergistic action. Keywords

In distribution system, Power Quality problems affecting sensitive equipment’s. There are different types of problems in power quality. These problems are power factor, reactive power compensation and harmonic distortion. Different types of FACT devices are used. These FACT devices are SVC, STATCOM, IPC, DVR, UPFC, TCSC, TCPST and DSTATCOM. D-STATCOM is a custom power device which is installed in parallel with distribution system. Regarding problems of power quality, these devices are used but for getting better response, D-STATCOM is used. There are various modulation techniques and also control techniques are available for implement these problems. These techniques are PWM, SPWM (modulation techniques) and other techniques are Phase Shift Control, d-q theory, Synchronous Reference Frame (SRF) model etc. And with reference frame model using PI controller the DSTATCOM can be controlled. DSTATCOM is used to reduce harmonic distortion, reactive power compensation and power factor improvement. In this paper we control the Voltage Source Converter (VSC) for mitigate harmonic distortion and reactive power compensation. The simulation was carried out with the help of SIMULINK & MATLAB software.

Introduction: The clavicle is subcutaneous throughout its length and makes a prominent aesthetic contribution to the contour of the neck and upper chest. The use of clavicular curvature analysis offers a new dimension in assessment of the functional morphology of the clavicle and its relationship to the shoulder complex. Objectives: The present study was done to determine gender and side specific variations in the medial angle, lateral angle, anterior lateral length and height, index of curvature and sinuosity of the clavicle. Material and Method: 300 pairs (600 clavicles) of known sex adult clavicles were obtained from cadaveric dissection and bony collections of anatomy department. The medial and lateral angle, anterior lateral curve height and length were measured. Also, index of curvature and sinuosity were calculated. The data obtained was statistically analysed. Results: There exists a statistically significant gender specific variation for index of curvature, anterior lateral curve length and height and index of sinuosity whereas medial and lateral angle values were found to be statistically insignificant. Conclusions: The study establishes morphometric criterion for clavicular curvatures in North Indians and compares observations with other populations giving a special emphasis on influence of sex factor. The curvatures should be taken in to account while performing clinical procedure like intramedullary fixation and plate fixation of fractures. Keywords
