A study was conducted in the vertisol of Chhattisgarh, in South east of Central India, to see the effect of Populus deltoides on the productivity of wheat crop. Wheat was grown as intercrop under five different clones (G3, 65/27, D121, G48 and S7Cl). Data on crop growth and yield at different distances (0.5 m, 1.5 m and 2.0 m) and four directions (east, west, north and south) from the tree bases and control ( no trees) were collected. Results indicate that grain yield was found to be less near the tree and it increased with an increase in distance away from the tree. Wheat yield in the four directions of tree was maximum (12.3 q/ha) in the North of tree followed by West and South. Wheat productivity was affected by theP. deltoides clones. A grain yield of 14.0 q/ha was obtained in the sole crop. It was maximum (13.8 q/ha) under D121 clone and the order of grain yield reduction due to clone was: S7Cl > G48> G3 > 65/27 > D121.

In this paper, a bandstop filter has been designed using a cylindrical shaped split ring resonator (SRR) that is a common work house for metamaterial and a microstrip transmission line resonating at 8.2 GHz, 6GHz, 5GHz, 4GHz and 3 GHz respectively with varying attenuations. It has also been observed that as the external radius of ring increases, resonating frequency decreases i.e. radius is inversely proportional to frequency. In simple words, only the radius of ring is to be changed with split gap, width of ring and other parameters constant. Firstly the ouput of RF signal will be observed without any SRR structure and then the effect of inserting SRR below the microstrip line will be in seen in terms of S12 parameter. These filters have a wide application in the field of wireless communication in RF front end devices.Keywords

The study aimed at understanding the retail industry of UK, its latest trends and performance of different retail sections namely high street retail, supermarkets and online retail. Online editorial media was used to collect data using relevant keywords through data crawlers and Google search for retail studies. It was found that Britain's high street has faced several problems in past few months like high vacancy rates, parking problems, high rents, and an impact of recession which called for protection of high street as it was considered as a symbol of Britain's great culture. Customers shopping trend had been changing towards high street and shopping malls and they were inclined towards online shopping due to convenience and time savings. Consumers also believed that shopping out of town lead to long driving time, extra purchases and waste of fuel. Same can also be stated with recent decrease in share of supermarket giants like Tesco&Sainsbury. Vigorous price war was initiated between supermarkets, high street shops and online retail shops. Centre vacancy rate of high street shops was 10.3% in October and in July's rate was 10.1%. Footfall on high streets also fell by 1.4% with a rise of 1.9% for out-of-town shopping centres. Due to convenience in shopping, availability of wide variety and time savings, online retail registered a growth of 15.8% in year 2014 as compared to 2013. Mobile shopping and tablet shopping created a revolution in retail industry and increased the percentage of purchases made by several folds. Keeping this in view present study was an attempt to analyse various factors causing a decline in share of high street and supermarkets and an increased interest in online retail.Keywords

In Himachal Pradesh the contribution of animal husbandry to total agricultural output has increased steadily over the years. Animal husbandry is an effective instrument of social and economic change for improving the living standard and quality of life across all sections of society. Moreover, the livestock enterprise provides stability and economic viability to the farming system on sustainable basis. The study was carried out in Jaisinghpur tehsil of Kangra district. A sample of 60 households was drawn from six villages using proportional allocation method. In the study area the size of holding was 0.61ha. The total number of livestock in terms of standard animal units was 2.51.The cropping intensity was higher on marginal farms.The sample farmers met the fodder requirement from owned and common lands. The marketed surplus and home consumption were higher on marginal farms as compared to small farms.Net returns from cow over total cost were found to be negative (INR. -391) in case of marginal farms, while it was positive (Rs. 223) in variable cost.The net returns over variable and total cost were found to be positive in case of buffalo. The break-even quantity (BEQ) for buffalo was 1245.30 litre.Keywords

Orthodontic treatment needs more than a year in an average to complete in straightening malalign teeth during this period proper oral hygiene maintenance required. During treatment improper oral hygeine maintenance leads to problem toward periodontal tissue. Fixed appliances that bonded to the teeth surface can cause difficulty in controlling the plaque especially in the marginal region that can cause the inflammation and gingival enlargement. Gingival enlargement due to the local irritation of the plaque can be treated with plaque control, scaling, ischolar_main planing until surgery intervention. The aim of the treatment with surgical intervention for gingival enlargement is to eliminate the gingival pocket so the patient can easily clean the teeth and maintain the good oral hygiene status. The term Epulis comes from the Greek ischolar_main for “on the gum” and as such really only describes the location of the lesion which clinically used to describe a localized growth on the gingiva. Histologic examination of epulides indicates that the vast majority are the fibrous hyperplasias, peripheral ossifying fibomas, pyogenic granulomas or peripheral giant cell granulomas. The major epulides are common oral lesions with which dentists should be thoroughly familiar. The clinical and histological relevance of the two cases are discussed and analyzed for their biological behaviour.Keywords

Gingival recession is the exposure of ischolar_main surfaces due to apical migration of the gingival tissue margins. Therefore this deformity should be treated at its earliest detection. Gingival recession is an esthetical problem lead to pain or hypersensitivity, retention of plaque hence inflamed gingiva, ischolar_main caries, abrasion and fear of tooth loss. Gingival recession can be managed by surgical or non-surgical approaches. Nonsurgical approaches include - restorations, crowns, veneers and gingival masks whereas surgical management includes various techniques of increasing the width of keratinized tissue such as frenectomy in case of high frenal attachment & ischolar_main coverage procedures. Lateral pedicle graft (LPG), is a technique where graft is elevated from donor site which remains attached at its base for nourishment and is transferred to adjacent site in isolated denuded ischolar_main.Keywords

The recession of the gingival mean apical migration of gingival tissue which may lead dental hypersensitivity, poor esthetic, more plaque accumulation and finally in later stage tooth loss. Gingival recession has multiple etiological factor like gingivitis, chronic trauma, frenal pull, tobacco chewing, acute traumatic injuries and psychological factors. Best way of curing gingival recession is proper treatment with early detection. In present case report we treat a patient with Millar class ii recession. The correction of Class I and II gingival recessions are presented as a means of minimizing surgical trauma and achieving predictable aesthetic results. Miller’s Classes I, in which the etiological factors are well diagnosed and show great predictability of total coverage when the technique of subepithelial connective tissue graft is used. This technique success has been mainly attributed to the double blood supply for graft’s nutrition, originating from the connective tissue of both the periosteum and flap. Miller’s Class I recession was treated by the surgical technique of subepithelial connective tissue graft, obtaining total coverage, eliminating the aesthetic deficiency and the dentin hypersensitivity complained by patient.Keywords

Aim: The study was conducted to assess oral health knowledge and practices among the patients attending the Department of Dentistry at Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati (SHKM) Government Medical College, Nuh, Haryana India. Material and Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 3000 patients using a pretested and structured questionnaire. The questions were to explore patient’s oral health behaviour and knowledge along with their routine oral practices. The data was collected and subjected to analysis through SPSS 18. Proportions and percentages were used for compilations of results. Results: The results showed that there is lack of knowledge with inappropriate measures to keep good oral hygiene. Only a small number of patients (12%) were found using tooth brush and paste whereas majority of population (73%) used Miswak sticks for cleaning their teeth. Females were found as most negligent regarding their oral health. Conclusion: The oral health practices among the population of Nuh were nonsatisfactory. There is need to develop and implement community oriented oral health promotion programs targeting oral health practices to control preventable oral diseases among the people of Nuh.

Camelus dromedaries, the Indian camels, are in the IUCN red list of threatened species. According to Times of India news excerpt appeared on 19th Dec, 2016; the Indian camel may be placed to Critically Endangered Species in IUCN list very soon which is not a good sign. Further, it states that according to the census, the population of camels inthe state had fallen from 421,836 in 2007 to 325,713 in 2012, registering a drop of22.79 per cent. IUCN is the International Union for Conservation of Nature founded in 1984 to create databases of animals and plants and their status. Primary reason of Indian camels for inclusion in the red list of IUCN is the sharp decreasing trend in population. The total sample of 200 of camel milk consumers were analyzed about different factor influencing the purchasing of camel milk such as educational status, occupation, number of family members, monthly household income, monthly consumption expenditure, amount spent on camel milk per month, annual income, source of camel milk, frequency of buying camel milk, quantity purchase per day, recommendation behind taking camel milk, use of camel milk and end use of camel milk.Keywords
