Among the distributed generation system one of the major sources of energy is Photo Voltaic (PV) generating system .Since the PV panel provides of low single cell voltage, it is not sufficient to drive any load. Overcoming from the above limitation a boost converter is connected to a DC battery. The battery is charged by the PV panel. Traditional boost converter cannot be used here; it doesn’t give high step up voltage at the output side. So that to get high step up voltages without moving into extreme duty cycle a high gain step up DC-DC converter is used. In this converter still some limitations are persisted. They are as follows, more number of switches are used, absence of recycling the energy loss in the inductor. To overcome these limitations a high gain step up three coupled base DC-DC boost converter is used. Here in the three coupled based DC-DC boost converter is used here have only one active switch there by the additional losses due to switching loss is minimized and the recycling the energy due to the leakage flux of the uncoupled inductor is overcoming by using coupled inductor topology. The controller is used here is the fuzzy logic controller, because they have the advantage to be robust and relatively simple to design as they do not require the knowledge of the exact model. This topology can provide three voltage levels they are as follows one is the high voltage level (900V), Medium voltage level (250V) and Low voltage level (70V).
