A lovely lawn in the Fairy Land. A fine morning in the spring. A spotless blue sky. The green plants are shimmering in the golden rays of the bright sun. The bowers are swinging in the mild breeze. The multi-colour flowers are dancing and swinging. A sweet fragrance permeates everywhere.- Geochemistry and Genesis of the Abar River Granite, Northwest of Udaipur City, Rajasthan

The granite is fine-to coarse-grained and constitutes mainly of quartz; K-feldspar and plagioclase. Among accessories, muscovite, biotite, chlorite, zircon, apatite and sphene are common. K-feldspar is generally microcline with perthitic intergrowth. The albite grains have similar optical orientation as that of the microcline; they are inferred to have formed by the ionic exchange of K by Na. The rock ranges in composition from granodiorite to granite. Variation trends of the plots of major and trace elements on Harker's diagram indicate that the granite is not formed by a simple fractional crystallization or partial melting of common homogeneous source. Plots on Rb, Ba and Sr ternary diagram reveal that it is a least differentiated normal granite type. Molar concentration of Al/(Na+K+Ca) > 1.1 and Rb/Sr ratio of 0.53 indicate a peraluminous source of the granitic magma. High silica content, and the mineral assemblages of the granite correspond to S-type granite. Keywords

Outlines the objectives of document procurement and stales the factors contributing to the delay in procurement of documents. Explains the procurement system for documents in a library belonging to an industry. Shows how a systematic study could be made of the existing procurement procedure to convince the management about the need for its simplification. Gives a model of a report prepared, incorporating such a study with necessary flow charts and notes. Concludes giving a flow chart of a procedure agreed upon as a result of the appreciation of the problem in a certain case.- Bearing Production Engineering:Depth Classification

Explains the importance of bearings in modern industry. Defines bearing and shows that the (BC) 'D9k Bearing Production Engineering' has two (CC) 'D9kl Sliding bearing' and 'D9k2 Rolling bearing' which are themselves (BC) and gives a table of the first characteristics used as the basis for the classification of bearings. Shows the different parts of a bearing with the help of a diagram. Provides a tentative scheme for the classification of the subjects going with the (BC) 'D9k Bearing Production Engineering' for [1P]. Gives an alphabetical index to the schedule. Gives a classified list of twenty-seven examples classified according to the above scheme.- Nat Production Engineering:Depth Classification

Stock index revisions to major stock indices usually bring in changes to the price and volume patterns of stocks getting added/deleted to and from the index. The current study analyzes stock index revisions of companies added (deleted) to and from the CNX 100 index by testing DSDC hypothesis and the PPH from 2004 to 2011. The results show that the price and volume effect is permanent for inclusions and exclusions of CNX 100 index. Hence, this has led to the support of the Downward Sloping Demand Curve hypothesis. Keywords
