Studies on agro-forestry based on poplar plantation coupled with non-conventional crops like aromaric plants (Mentha spp and Cymbopogon spp) for three years revealed no adverse effect of companion aromatic plants on poplar growth measured in terms of height and diameter. Further, while the herb and oil yield of Mentha spp decreased as compared to their sole cropping in second and third year, that of Cymbupogon spp remained equally economical in all the three years of this study. Thus, the aromatic grasses particularly Java Citronella, Palmarosa and Lemon grass were proved to be the efficient companion crops under poplar based agro-forestry.- Poplar (Populus deltoides Bartram Ex Marshall) In Forest and Agro-forestry Systems

The suitability of poplar for agro-forestry was studied. The poplar plantation done in blocks or in a single row on field bunds, roads or along irrigation channels was found economical. In agro-forestry the trees attained economical growth in five year's period only with a net income of Rs. 22048/ha/year. Poplar trees grown along form boundaries/channels attained comparable growth within a period of three years as against five years period under agro forestry with a net income of Rs. 11067 in three years to Rs. 41250 in seven years. To make this programme endurable in the farming system, fresh planting of trees before the harvest of matured trees is recommended.- A Note on Twin Seedlings in Syzygium Travancoricum Gamble. and Garcinia Imberti (Bourd.) - Two Critically Endangered Tree Species of Southern Western Ghats

Bracon fletcheri and Ophiorrhabad sp. are the two major seed pests, which mainly prevent the natural regeneration of the Syzygium travancoricum Gamble. The infestation of these pests destroy 65% of the total seeds in both immature and mature stages in their natural habitat. Infections in the mature fruits can be effectively controlled by the application of 36% of monochrotophos solution (10ml /1 litre of water). Keywords

Voting is a privilege of living in a democracy. To take this step further concept of online voting system is considered to facilitate central Government’s new policy of giving voting rights to NRI’s through recent people’s bill. India’s recent initiative to give Unique Identification Number (UIQ) for every citizen will help to implement this online voting system using cloud computing. The main objective of our project is finding candidate who are all not voting and avoid the travelling time for voters to vote, that is for electing candidate. In traditional voting system the voter must come to polling booth for doing their democracy duty. So we have proposed a system for voting. Using this system, we can vote for the candidate wherever we are. Main objective of proposed system are, to minimize the time consumption for voters. It supports only the authenticate person to elect the candidate. User can vote at any place at time during the election time. The evolution of cloud computing over the past few years is potentially one of the major advances in the history of computing. Cloud computing is a centralized cloud storage environment which can have ability to store large amount of data without implementing separate servers for maintaining the database for the voters. Manual voting system connected in the same cloud server which monitors both the online voting and manual voting process.- A Note on the Nutritive Value of Pala Leaves (Ziziphus nummularia) in Semi-Arid Zone of Rajasthan
