Normalised major and trace element data of manganese ores from Nishikhal are processed by using R-mode factor analysis of correlation matrix. Twenty major and trace elemental variables are expressed in terms of 3 common (rotated) factors to understand the mineralogical occurrences and the processes of formation of the manganese deposit. Varimax factor scores are used to classify in a finer detail the manganese ore types. Keywords

Co-Rich Lithiophonte is reported for the first time from low-grade Mn ores of the Bonai-Keonjhar belt (Jamda-Koira valley), Orissa. It occurs in two distinct Litho-Host associations, (i) lateritic zone capping Mn-ore horizon and (ii) shear zone-controlled siliceous manganese ore. It mostly appears as thinly banded and as Vug-Filled linings, in close association with cryptomelane. It occurs as Micron-Sized acicular to pea-shaped crystallites in the first litho association and as coarse, radiating crystals showing Zig-Saw pattern arrangement in the second association Co content is low (CoO 0 14 0 8%) in the Fine-Grained variety whereas in the Coarse-Grained variety it ranges up to 2% (CoO 0 14 2 00%). Appreciable quantity of Ni (N10 0 15-1 5%) is observed along with Co only in Coarse-Grained variety. The mechanism of Co-Entry into the two varieties of supergene lithiophorite through adsorption has been discussed Report of Co in terrestrial Mn-ore has opened up new potential in this part of Orissa. Keywords

IEEE 802.16e, a broadband wireless access technology that provides high speed internet access and multimedia services has seen very significant growth in recent times. With the due rapid deployment of WiMAX, there would be a growing demand for efficient support of voice applications. The performance of Voice over IP services depends on a proper scheduling algorithm combined with a proper Voice encoder scheme. The contribution of this work is two fold. The first is that we present an efficient scheduling algorithm that can be used for VoIP services in IEEE 802.16e. We then implement the algorithm in various CODECS and compare the performance of the codec's i.e.G.728, G.711, G.723, G.729, G.726, GSM-EFR, GSM-HR under similar load conditions for Interactive voice over WiMAX by enabling the Speech Activity Detection (SAD). We analyze the system throughput and delay to evaluate the performance of our algorithm and the primary metrics that were used in the comparison for choosing the right vocoders for the algorithm were Jitter, MOS, and packet end to end delay. Keywords

Marketing is creating needs and satisfying them with a product or service. Product can be tangible or intangible. Marketing efforts convert needs of person into want and desire. Marketing is first step is to identify the needs of person and present the product as a mean to satisfy those need and to present a product we need to convert it in idea/message/slogan to attract masses. Packaging helps to concentrate customer focus on features/benefits/USP of product. Packaging not only contains and protects the product but also attract customer attention and act as silent sales man. This work is an effort made to understand the different marketing models and to suggest a new model representing packaging as integral part of marketing. Keywords

Printing process is a method used to print substrates with the help of suitable image carrier Any single substrate can be suitably printed with many printing processes as per demand of the customer New hybrid printing concepts also have given the printing field a new revolution which can print the substrates with the combination of two or more printing processes. Therefore, it is need of the hour to identify printing process with some suitable mechanism. This paper throws light on identification of different printing processes on the basis of print edges itself. A number of print samples were collected and with the help of 60-X zoom microscope the edges were enlarged. The identification and characterization of different printing process was done on the basis of enlarged print edges. Keywords
