Corrugated fiberboard boxes are very important for dispatching the item from supplier to consumer. The finished goods are packed and then dispatch to the customer and hence CFC is very important parameter to transport the finished cartons to the final user without any damage to the inside cartons. Corrugated is a rigid shipping and packaging medium that can be cut and folded into an infinite variety of shapes and sizes even allowing direct print with high resolution graphics. Corrugated offers almost unlimited possible combinations of board types, fiute sizes, paperweights, adhesive types, treatments and coatings. Strength of the corrugated board is an indispensable factor without which the core concept of packaging is lost and in addition brings a huge loss of resources to the supplier Corrugated Board is engineered for stack ability This paper is focused on studying and analyzing the strength properties of CFC boards so that appropriate measures could be taken to improve the strength. Corrugated fiber boards are tested for the strength properties through bursting strength and compression strength and the results have been utilized in better selection of the corrugated board which not only avoid overpricing but are also more durable.Keywords

As we know Printing Industry has three major section pre-press, press and post press. During print production every job goes through these sections and faced some problems/defects. These defects may produce more wastage and reduce the quality work. So in this study to identify such defects some jobs have tracked. Ink lay down sequence is a crucial aspect from technical perspective during printing which affects the print quality. The sequence of colors is very important for the print quality in the Sheet-fed Offset. This research paper delineated the variation in the print contrast of colors due to variation of different ink sequences. Although CMYK and KCMY are the standardized sequences for offset lithography but there are possibilities of printing by five different color sequences namely CMYK, MYCK, YMCK, KCMY and KYMC. To identify the effect of ink sequence in Sheet-fed Offset print quality, prepared a master and done printing in the local printing press of repute. After printing on Art and Map litho paper the result was analyzed.Keywords

Rapid technology advancement, trade barrier, environmental awareness, customer satisfaction, identify customer needs, client servicing and attraction new customers. Rapid Technology advancement is the key factor which needs skilled force during introduction of new technologies. Various education programs and vocational programs have been introduced in India for printing Industry. In skilled India Program, there are so many job roles which are covering almost every sector of industry, but no one has given attention to printing industry. In this paper, we will examine the skill gap in printing industry and what steps must be taken to make printing industry more productive and effective.Keywords

This research paper delineated the variations in ink density due to different ink sequences on Art and Maplitho paper substrate. Density has always been an important aspect and the most exclusively evaluated term during printing. As density effects print quality, so it has been considered of greater importance across the in this modem technological time. The sequence of colors or ink sequence is an important factor effecting print quality in Sheet-fed Offset printing. Five different ink sequences CMYK, MYCK, YMCK, KCMY and KYMC were used on Art and Maplitho paper substrate for study. The main aim of this paper is to investigate impact of these sequences on density of Art and Maplitho paper during printing.Keywords

Zeugodacus caudatus (Fabricius) is a pest of cucurbit plants. The present study was conducted to draw the relationship among Indian Z. caudatus populations with the other defined genetic lineage of the species. A total of 18 individuals’ mtCOI gene sequences from 3 populations of India were analysed along with 34 individuals’ mtCOI gene sequences from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and China and generated 14 haplotypes. Phylogenetic study revealed the presence of distinct genetic lineage in Z. caudatus populations collected from India. The genetic distance between three distinct lineages of Z. caudatus was 0.057, 0.055 and 0.018 between Indonesia and Malaysia, India and Indonesia, and India and Malaysia, respectively and also evident from phylogenetic analysis. Further, the mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase I (COI) gene sequences developed in this study will help detection and geographical distribution of new haplotypes and lineages of the species in future.Keywords
