Printing has been one of the major inventions in the history of mankind. Printing has travelled a long way and we are living in an era, in which everything needs printing and everything is needed to be packed. Printing industry is growing with an exponential rate & requires skilled manpower. Objective of this paper is to find out manpower skills printing industries are seeking in B. Tech. Printing Technology students to bridge the gap between skills, B. Tech. Printing institution are producing and the skills required in printing organizations. A survey of 25 printing companies was carried out. The results indicated that practical knowledge of colour separation, color management, measuring the color CIE & LAB value, computer skills, basic knowledge of all process are must for B. Tech. students to meet industrial requirements. Keywords

Packaging Technology is constantly evolving in response to growing challenges of a modem society that research more using in safe product, transportation and convinced to the consumer The Smart Packaging is a new technology of Packaging which use in Packaging. Smart Packaging is able to indicates inform about a change occurred in a product. Packaging represents important evaluation in food products, Pharma product and cosmetic products. It is to ensure the safety and quality of every product. By keeping up with expanding technologies to assure freshness in everyday products, we design Smart Packaging solutions to enhance your Packaging line and identify which products are best for your application. Smart Packaging provides innovative approaches to fit Packaging by provide information, hazards analysis critical control point. This research paper tells about of the important of Smart Packaging. Keywords

The demand of packaging sector is growing rapidly over a period of time. Printing on flexible plastic substrates is the main substrates due to its natural nature. Along with its demand, the wastages are also main problem and its control is very important. The wastages may be in two forms i.e. Liquid wastages or solid wastages. The solid wastages play an effective role in affecting the productivity of organization. The wastages during the printing production from infeed unit to outfeed unit, including all stages are the main issue in all printing process and its finding at all stages is very important to control the wastages and improving productions. Analyzing the solid wastages at different stages guide the organization to minimize the wastages and indicates the maximum and minimum wastages during production. This research paper presents the solid wastages at different stages likes printing, inspection, lamination, slitting and trimming, during printing and machine-off operation and hence indicates at which stages the maximum wastages is occurring that can be minimized in future. Keywords

Today, Packaging is growing rapidly. It covers 50% to 60% in the food packaging market. There are various printing methods which are used for printing on various substrates which are useful for packaging like paperboard, flexible films (PP, BOPP) and labels. Packaging substrates are printed by high quality printing machines. E-commerce market is also growing rapidly. Packaging products attract the consumer of all age groups. The various points comes in this category are color, shape and dimension of the product. Product development also changes the shape of the package. This is a theoretical paper which tells us about various factor of the packaging product on the consumer buying behavior. Keywords

Packaging is the technique of using most appropriate containers and component to protect, carry, identify and merchandise any product. Due to ever increasing population especially the urban population and rising living standards of people the demands for the packaged dairy products are rising rapidly since the past decade. To meet these demands it becomes inevitable to preserve the products in safe and healthy conditions and this can be achieved only through proper packaging. As the shelf life of the unpacked dairy products are very short the only way to protect their hygiene and keep them safe from various environmental, microbiological, handling and transportation hazards is.Keywords
