Abstract
Throughout history, people have always been trying safe and appropriate shelter Prepare your surroundings to provide a suitable condition for its existence It's also due to different climate types hot and humid, hot and dry, mild and humid and cold is important. As different architectural harmony with the climate that has arisen in houses built using local materials which have the least negative impact on the environment As well as reducing energy consumption, using local materials, have led to environmental sustainability and increase the durability of buildings. The aim of this study was to investigate traditional and modern architecture of the different climate and its impact on the environment, including energy saving or not saving or destroying the environment. The principle of sustainable development is central to sustainable development. The report of the World Commission on Environment and Development in 1987, such a definition of it is to come: "Sustainable development means meeting the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations so that the needs of the present generation will not be jeopardized."
