The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioral Group Training on Stress Management Style Resiliency and Hemoglobin Levels in diabetic patients of Shiraz city has been done. Research method was experimental and the design of pretest-posttest-with-control group kind been. Statistical population consisted of nearly nine hundred and fifty diabetic patients from the Diabetic Center of the City of Shiraz one year before and filling the case. The research community consisted of 60 people was randomly selected from the member patients of Shiraz diabetic association who were available from the sample. They were randomly bringing in two groups of experimental and control. At first pre-tests were performed by both groups and then the experiment group were trained stress management, cognitive - behavioral therapy with relaxation in 10 sessions of two hours and a half every week and during this term control group was under training other unrelated stress management programs such as drug educations. After the end of the term, both groups completed the questionnaires again. Also glycemic control index (HbAlc) test was repeated after 3 months from the first test. The research tools include resiliency questionnaires and glycemic control index (HbAlc) testing. Also, data obtained from research using descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, frequency, maximum and minimum) and the covanance method Manova inferential statistics and independent T-test and analysts software SPSS-18 case. The findings indicate that cognitive style group training, stress management-treated diabetic patients by increasing resiliency and decrease of the glycemic hemoglobin in the blood of diabetic patients.Keywords

Burnout phenomenon spread to different people in various positions is, who suffered a high work pressure and satisfaction are low. This study aimed to investigate the burnout prediction based on organizational commitment and perceived social support the staff Imam Khomeini Relief Committee (RA) is Shiraz (Descriptive correlational). In this study, 150 employees of the organization were available for sampling. Research data Mezlach and Jackson job burnout questionnaire, organizational commitment of Allen and Meyer and perceived social support scale van der Hayden and colleagues were collected. Data using multivariate linear regression analysis using the statistical software at the same time SPSS18 were analyzed. The results showed that among the components of organizational commitment, emotional commitment can be variable Part of the changes burnout Committee staff Imam Khomeini, Shiraz predict. Also, variables, perceived social support from colleagues in the organization can be part of variables to predict burnout and variables supervisor support is not able to predict burnout. The results also showed that changes the committee staff burnout Imam Khomeini, Shiraz organizational commitment variables (total) and perceived social support (total) is explained.Keywords

The aim of research is comparison the self-efficiency and the confrontation with stress strategies in women having addicted husbands (in curing) and normal women in Isfahan in 2014.This review is a descriptive and correlation research according to subject and goal. The reviewed sample includes 100 women with addicted husbands and 100 normal women that referred to abuse centers in Isfahan and chose according to available sampling technique. The participants completed the sherer self-efficiency questionnaire (SES, 1982) and confrontation with stressful situations (clss, 1990) and personal information questionnaires. This research used Gotman reducing to half and Kronbachalfa techniques for stability of tools. The tools showed good validity and stability. This research has used Pearson correlation and multi variable variance analysis statistical techniques. The results showed that quantity of F in variance analysis with P=0/35% is meaningful and define that the average of avoiding confrontation mark is higher in women with addicted husbands than normal women and it shows women with addicted husbands use more avoiding techniques than women with normal husbands. Difference between the average of self-efficiency in two groups of women with addicted husbands and normal husbands is meaningful with P<0/003,T=3/02. So the hypothesis is confirmed and defines that the average of self- efficiency mark in normal women is higher than women with addicted husbands.Keywords

The present study has been performed with purpose of predicting life quality in relation with psychological assets and mind happiness in teachers of Shiraz city. Methodology was correlation and descriptive. Studied sample included 313(131 men & 183 women) teachers of Shiraz city in high school in 2014-2015 and were selected in a random cluster method. Participants filled a 36 questions life quality questionnaire (SF-36) and a 24-question Oxford mind happiness questionnaire (OHI). In the present, study a Cronbach alpha instrument used for determining instruments reliability. A suitable validity and reliability was reported for tests. In the present study pearson correlation coefficient statistical test and multi variable regression statistical analysis and an independent t-Test were used for hypothesis testing. Results showed that positivism variable could predict physical health of teachers' life quality. Moreover, the teachers who have better psychological health have also better physical health, meanwhile, positivism variable predicted psychological health. Results also indicated that psychological assets and mind happiness variables could predict a portion of teachers' life quality. Results also indicated a meaningful difference of life quality between men and women. Considering to the meaningfulness level of regression test, studied sample can be extended to the society.Keywords

The purpose of this study was to comparison of personality characteristics and resiliency in people with cardiovascular disease and normal subjects. The method of this study was comparative with descriptive methods. The statistical population of this study was all patients with coronary artery disease in Shiraz, Kowsar, and Ordibehesht hospitals in summer o f 2017, A total of 80 patients were selected through targeted sampling and the normal group (without physical illness) was selected by 80 people matched by age, sex, education, employment and marriage. Both groups were evaluated with a researcher's satisfaction with personality assessment and resiliency questionnaires. Data collected by descriptive statistics (mean & standard deviation) and inferential statistics (analysis of variance & T-test for testing hypotheses) were analyzed using SPSS-22 software. The results ofthe data analysis showed that cardiovascular patients scored more significant scores in the personality component of psychosis and less significant scores in the personality flexibility component compared to the normal group. Also, in the resiliency variable, the heart disease group had less significant scores compared to the normal group. It is suggested that the results of this study be used to design the educational programs of cardiac patients.Keywords

The purpose of this study was to compare metacognitive beliefs, early maladaptive schemas and emotional regulation in obsessive-compulsive patients and normal individuals. The present study was a causal study. Among the statistical population of all patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder referring to counseling centers in Shiraz during the first quarter of 2017, 40 obsessive-compulsive patients were selected by available sampling method. Then, the normal group with maximum matched age and Sex with obsessive-compulsive group were selected they were assessed by questionnaires of emotion regulation, metacognitive questionnaire, and Yang-Short Form Schema Questionnaire. SPSS-22 software was used to analyze the data in the form of descriptive tests including mean standard deviation, and also to compare the meanings of multivariate analysis of variance and the assumptions of this test. The results of these analyzes indicated that the mean of obsessive-compulsive group was significantly higher in the meta-cognitive beliefs, early maladaptive schemas, and the strategy for regulating the excitement of suppression, and in the strategy of adjustment of the excitement of re-evaluation was significantly lower than the normal group. It is suggested that the results of this study be used to design medical and educational programs in people with obsessive compulsive disorder.Keywords

The main purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between mental health and academic performance and self-efficacy and academic procrastination of high school students. For this purpose, among all high school students of lamerd schools in 1396, a sample of 200 people (100 girls & 100 boys) was selected through two-stage cluster sampling. The samples were evaluated by the Goldberg Hiller General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28), Sherer's General Self-efficacy Scale (GSES), Pham and Taylor Educational Performance Questionnaire (EPT), Solomon and Roth Blum Educational Inventory Questionnaire. Finally, the data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient test. Therefore, the results showed that there is a relationship between mental health and academic performance and self-efficacy and academic procrastination of high school students. There is a relationship between mental health and academic performance dimensions of high school students. There is a relationship between mental health and self-efficacy dimensions of high school students. There is a significant relationship between mental health and educational attainment of high school students.Keywords
