Despite high success rate of Refractive surgeries, contact lenses still continue to be good modality to overcome low vision due to refractive error. But along with the ease to use and disinfecting, the same continue to pose a challenge for an ophthalmologist when it comes to its complications. Long term wearing of contact lenses can involve not only the cornea but also the conjunctiva, and lids which in turn can lead not only to mild visual blurring but also permanent blindness if not detected at an early stage. The present study was conducted on 250 contact lens wearers and they were evaluated to determine the types and incidence of complications associated with prolonged use of contact lenses. Keywords
