The role of entrepreneurship as a growth driver is well established in the tourism and hospitality industry. Travel businesses and hospitality sector provide fruitful and tempting environment for the entrepreneurship. Based on cognition, it is claimed that intent has a crucial role in starting an entrepreneurial venture. The Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) can aid in understanding entrepreneurial intent, by studying it via three components forecasting behavioural intention i.e., attitude, subjective norms and perceived behavioural control. The purpose of this research is to look into the significance of the components that affect the entrepreneurial intent of tourism and hospitality pupils in Kashmir. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to measure and analyse the relationship of variables. To investigate the hypothesized correlations in this study, the bootstrapping technique was applied. According to study findings, the three components of TPB and entrepreneurship education all illustrated a considerable impact on entrepreneurial intent. The largest influence on entrepreneurial intent among the students comes from entrepreneurship education. The findings offer educators insight into how to encourage tourism students in Kashmir to engage in tourism entrepreneurial activities. Besides, the study aims to know the perception of residents towards these RTPs. Data were collected from 180 residents of Pahalgam tourist destination. The exploratory factor analysis technique was applied to explore the dimensions of RTPs. The findings of the study revealed that four dimensions were extracted for 17 items of RTPs that accounted for 73.46 per cent of the variance. The findings showed that residents perceive that RTPs have a significant role towards the economic upliftment of destination communities. Thus, the findings of the study suggest the successful implementation of RTPs in other tourist destinations of the Kashmir Valley. The traditional library ways of acquiring, repackaging, storing and communicating information have changed due to web and internet technologies. The aim of the study was to identify the available e-resources in the Maasai Mara University library and assess its utilization. The study was guided by the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Information Technology. The study adopted a descriptive survey design with a target population of 3180 students a sample size of 343 participants drawn from undergraduate students who are in the second and fourth year of their studies. The response rate obtained for the research study was 76 per cent, drop and pick-up method was used for the distribution and collection of questionnaires. The study found that a range of e-resources is available at Maasai Mara University for students use. From the findings, the majority of the respondent used electronic journal at 39.5 per cent. It was noted that a small fraction of the respondents’ access electronic resources from home (18.4 per cent) while a majority of them (53.2 per cent) access the library and the computer labs available at the university. Khamadi 2022-03-01 2022-03-01 10 Exploring Dynamics of Learning Organisation on Performance Outcomes https://www.i-scholar.in/index.php/ijkmp/article/view/215818 Organisations worldwide are creating learning organisations for knowledge acquisition & sharing, collectively empowering people toward innovation and change, creating value for customers & shareholders, etc. Output of a learning organisation not only improves operating efficiency by modifying products, processes & services but also leads to distinctive advantages and outsells the competition. Environmental turbulence is transforming general insurance organisations from mechanical to LOs to remain competitive, efficient and effective. Data for the study were collected from 498 employees of 11 general insurance company GIC organisations functioning in the union territory of J&K. After data reduction and scale validation through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, hypotheses were tested using structural equation modelling and one-way ANOVA. The study concluded that for ensuring successful LO, learning aptitude, knowledge and training must be encouraged. Further, empowerment, shared vision, teamwork, reward, effective communication, and supportive leadership are also required for encouraging employees to perform outstanding at the individual level, group level, and corporation level.
