In this competitive world, numbers of activities and pressures for adolescents have increased remarkably. These increased pressures and activities put adjustment problems among adolescents. Self-efficacy can be a potent factor to enhance adjustment among adolescents. The present study was aimed at to see group differences (high vs. low) of self-efficacy with adjustment among adolescents. The objectives of the study are to examine the relationship between measures of adjustment and self efficacy. The sample of the study involved 194 adolescents between the age range of 14 and 16 years. The adolescents were assessed with Bell's Adjustment Inventory (Hindi Adaptation), and Self-efficacy Questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using Pearson's Product Moment method of correlation and t test. For mean comparisons, the sample of adolescents was classified into two extreme groups' i.e. high vs. low (MeanĀ±1 S.D.) on the basis of their scores on self-efficacy and adjustment scores of their respective wards. The results showed that (i) Social adjustment, family adjustment and emotional adjustment was found to be significant negative association with self-efficacy. (ii). the two extreme groups of self-efficacy (high vs. low) showed significant differences on adjustment among adolescents.Keywords

The purpose of this study was to examine the role of resilience as a moderator of the relationship between occupational stress and psychological health of the employees of supervisory level. The present study was conducted on 315 supervisory level employees of a manufacturing organization in India. The sample was selected using convenience sampling method. The different tools used for data collection in this study are Occupational Stress Index (Srivastava & Singh, 1981), General Health Questionnaire (Goldberg & Hiller, 1979), and Resilience & Optimism Scale (Srivastava, 2008). The moderated regression analysis of the data revealed that resilience significantly moderate the relationship between occupational stress and psychological health of the supervisors. This study may help supervisors to understand their positive traits or attributes like resilience which could help in coping with occupational stress and maintaining good psychological health to work efficiently which is need of the hour for smooth functioning of organizations.Keywords

It is well established by the researchers that high levels of occupational stress leads to ill-health. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the factors which moderate the relationship between occupational stress and ill-health. The present study was conducted to examine the role of positive affectivity as a moderator of the relationship between occupational stress and ill-health among supervisors. The sample of this study consisted of 315 supervisory level employees of manufacturing organizations in India. The sampling techniques used was convenience sampling. Measures used for measuring occupational stress, ill-health and positive affectivity were Occupational Stress Index, General Health Questionnaire and Positive Affectivity dimension of Positive and Negative Affect Scale respectively. The moderated regression analysis of the data revealed that positive affectivity significantly moderate the relationship between occupational stress and ill-health of the supervisory level employees. This study may help supervisors to understand and develop one of the their positive traits or attributes, i.e., positive affectivity could be helpful in resisting occupational stress and maintaining their good health.Keywords

The global economy, demanding organizations, uncertainties, rising unemployment, anxieties about future job loss, lack of access to affordable health care, a crisis in the financial industry, and declining consumer confidence has created a significant stress in the life of the workers and their families. The adversities research in the field of positive organizational behavior is rising rapidly. The present paper reviews the shift of organizations from traditional HRM practices, to enhancing the psychological capital of the workers. In the recent times the value of positive psychological resources has gained focus for theory building, research, and application in psychology. The paper reviews the significance of hope as a positive psychological resource, it's relevance at workplace, it's relatedness to employee's health and performance, and the conditions, interventions that could be applied to enhance hope.Keywords

The life satisfaction and mental health are vital factors that affect the individual's adjustment with life, motivation, perception, health, personality and so many sphere of life. This paper explores the life satisfaction and mental health among migrated and non-migratedlabours in carpet industry of Varanasi, India. To achieve the objectives of the study 100 labours were randomly selected, out of which 50 were migrated (25 female and 25 male) and 50 were non migrated (25 female and 25 male). Alam & Srivastava's Life Satisfaction Scale (1971) and Jagdish and Srivastava's Mental Health Inventory (1996) were used to measure the variables under study. The analysis of data reveals that there is significant difference in life satisfaction and mental health among migrated and non-migratedlabours. The gender is also found to be significantly affecting the life satisfaction and mental health of labours.Keywords

Milk and dairy products have significant importance to human nutrition during different stages of life but they can also act as vehicle for spread of various milk-borne diseases. India is a developing country and faces greater challenges m this aspect due to poor knowledge of processing or storage of dairy products which is responsible for transmission of a number of milk-borne zoonotic diseases viz., tuberculosis, brucellosis, salmonellosis, campylobacteriosis etc. These diseases pose severe threat to human life and some of them could be fatal as well. There is a need to detect these pathogens which can transmit due to insufficient pasteurization of milk or milk products or through post-pasteurization contamination, m order to successfully avoid transmission of these diseases. Proper pasteurization, surveillance and pubHc awareness about milk borne zoonotic diseases can contribute significantly m reducing incidence of these diseases. This review highlights the important milk borne diseases and their remedy for control and prevention of these diseases.Keywords

Cow milk is a source of micro-nutrients required for good health. Now a days, a new debate on type of milk and its possible effect on human health has started, some people says that A2 milk is more beneficial for health than Al milk. As the milk and milk products are essential components of human diet, hence the present paper reviews studies conducted on type of milk and human health. Al allele is more frequent in exotic cattle while Indian breeds of cattle and buffaloes have A2 allele. Some of the studies on consumption pattern of Al/A2 beta-casein and human health have shown that A2 milk is beneficial for health; however, more detailed investigations are required to prove the hypothesis that Al milk could facilitate the immunological process that leads to health problems in humans.Keywords

Workplace harassment atfects the light, passion, humor, personality and others intellectual properties of many employees, until recently it has been relatively ignored in the ocean of organizational psychology literature. First, the aim of this study was investigate the relationship between workplace bullying and mental health. Secondly, etfect of workplace bullying behaviour on employee behaviour and his deviant behaviour in social relation. Health harming and potential antecedents and consequences also focuses hidden and troubles features of victims. After deep analysis of review show personal construct, individual differences, environmental factor and culture was negatively significant today to night behaviour of employee well-being. Female, disable, patient, aged person, black skin people, third gender and dwarf or all other people found mainly as a victim from previous research. Poor social, work culture, quality, features of work, Rankism and environment were showing negatively correlated with intentional inflicts bullying in organization. Bullying and aggression had similar effects on the feelings of stress, mental health, and job satisfaction of both men and women. Most of the studies focus on only in employee or organizational scenario due to most of part of human behaviour has in dark. Counselling, intervention, prevention, policy, rule, laws have some issue who is not prescribed by previous studies in effective ways.Keywords
