Abstract

This research paper has been prepared aiming of the study of Mental health of the students of Art's and Commerce at Higher secondary and U.G.Level total 120 rendom male sample form he is urban and rural area, from joint family or divided family in Visavadar Taluka.Tools for the research was personal data sheet and mental health test developed by Dr D.J. Bhatt and Shree Geeta R. Gida. Means were computed and T-Test was applied to check the significance of different between two variables. The result show that no different is found in the Mental health of higher secondary and u.g.students weather he is from urban and rural area from a joint of a divided family.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to compare the Frustration of Parents of Mentally Retarded and Mentally Normal Children. Comparison has been made between Frustration of mothers and fathers. Frustration of parents having Boy MR children and Girl MR children were also compared on their frustration. Frustration of parents was measured by 'Frustration Test' by Chauhan and Tiwari (1972). Mean and SD of Frustration scores of both the comparison groups were calculated and 't' test has been employed to verify the retainability of the hypotheses. Results indicated high Frustration of parents of MR children. High Frustration of father of MR in comparison to parents having boys MR children. Some suggestions have been made to give support and help to these frustrated parents of MR children.

Abstract

The present study was to do the comparative study of mental health of people carrying working people. For the present study, 100 young people working in education and non-education field at Junagadh were taken as samples. It consist 25 men and 25 women working in education field and 25 men and 25 women working in non-education field. Thus, overall 50 men and 50 women are taken as samples, t-test was applied to analyse the results and the results indicated that there is no significant difference between the mean of mental health of people working in education and non-education field. There is no significant difference between the mean of mental health of people working in education and non-education field in context of their sex discrimination. There is no significant difference between the mean of mental health of married and unmarried people.

Abstract

Our society is a blend of different families having different cultures and traditions. Family is a social institution on which certain and development of our society is grounded. According to Lehner and Cube, family has been one of the most prevalent social institutions for human being for centuries together. The current study examined the family adjustment of computer higher education students and non-computer higher education students. The sample was taken from different colleges of Gujrat state. Family adjustment questionnaire by Badami and Badami and personal data sheet was used to assess the information and results were analyzed using t-test, and are discussed.

Abstract

Generally aggressive behavior is not considered to be valid, still some situations the aggressive behavior is necessary. Operations done by military officers or commando to sight with terrorists is appreciated. Thus, any behavior has to be considered according to social norms which are accepted by the society. In this way the behavior which is intended to hurt others can be considered aggression. The aim of study is to find out the level of aggression between urban and rural, secondary and higher secondary, boys and girls children. A total of 80 students (40 from urban school and 40 from rural school, 20 boys and 20 girls from each group) were randomly selected for the study. The smith MacMiller (Buss & Perry -1992) Inventory as used to assess the level of aggression in these children. 'T' test was used to gain the purpose of research by statistical analysis. There was a significant difference at 0.05 level between rural and urban area, secondary & higher secondary student & girls and boys. People who are living in urban area have more aggression than rural area. Higher secondary's students has more aggression than secondary student. Boys are more aggressive than girls.
