Prolonged Hypotension - an Unusual Complication Following Nitrazepam Overdose

Nitrazepam is a long acting benzodiazepine which has been used for insomnia as well as for anxiety states. The common side effects are drowsiness and respiratory depression. We report a case of severe prolonged hypotension requiring ionotropic support following nitrazepam overdose.
