This article aims to find out how seniors invest in investment instruments in the Czech Republic and how much of their retirement they are willing to invest. The main problem that occurs in the investment environment in the Czech Republic is a reluctance to invest public investment. The result is the finding whether the seniors investors invest or not, including the introduction of new knowledge arising from research conducted at the chosen target group on the basis of the questionnaire survey. Investors in retirement are an important group of investors in terms of population, where their number is growing every year. The disadvantage of the elderly is often neglected investment company with regard to their age and income.

The article deals with investment of Czech seniors into investment instruments. The market, economic and financial risks are the most important risks, which determine the quality and performance of small and medium sizes enterprises. The main objective of the article is to evaluate the most important sources of market, economic and financial risk between Slovak and Czech SMEs according gender and size of enterprise. The questionnaires of 895 entrepreneurs were collected and prepare on evaluating in the year 2018. The statistical hypotheses were accepted through the mathematical method as is Z-score. The gender of entrepreneur and size of enterprises between Slovak and Czech entrepreneurs is a significant factor of evaluating the sources of economic risk, as is development of the tax and insurance burden; weak availability of the financial resources (loans, foundations); development of the interest rates; growing prices of all types of energy. According to the evaluation of entrepreneurs, the intensity of sources of economic risk in Slovak business environment is higher than in Czech business environment.Keywords

The article deals with investment and business opportunities offered by silver. Silver is the metal used in industry and for investing at financial markets. The main problem related to this real commodity is the issue of “the undervaluation” of its investment options, if compared to gold. If considering silver as the investment option, its investment potential is significantly enhanced by its industrial usage. The aim of this paper is to highlight business and investment opportunities for both professionals and non professional investors at the commodity markets. The price growth of this investment and industrial metal can generate profits for the investors. And on the other hand, industries which cannot do without silver in their production may efficiently utilize the knowledge of setting up its price at the markets.Keywords
