This study aims to gain insight into some of the factors that determine the training needs of the employees in an organization. The present research aims to identify&access the training needs of the employees, to study and understand the need of training to the manager of the company for the development purpose, to study and identify the employees attitude towards the conduct of training programme. Data was collected from 120 employees in a large Paper manufacturing firm in the organization through the conviniance sampling method . The collected datas were analysed through simple percentage analysis for demographic variables, weighted average method, chi square test&anova for determining the training needs of the employees. The results indicated that Proper Feedback may be given to the employees in his/her Performance. A good interpersonal relationship should be maintained for the smooth functioning of the organizational activities. The duration of the Training programs should be increased. This helps to the employees and the Trainees to build a rapport and exchange ideasKeywords
