Technological advancement and shortcomings and restrictions of regular language classrooms led language teachers to make use of educational technology. These technologies have provided a supporting environment for language learners to overcome the concomitant difficulties of language learning. Consisting of physical and psychological privileges language teaching technology enables learners to acquire a second language without being bored and stressed. The teacher, however, has a more rigorous and relatively different role with respect to opting state-of- the- art teaching techniques to take the full advantages of the language lab. As a result, the aim of this study is to explore how teachers should adjust themselves in teaching a second language with the aid of language teaching technology. This study would like to address three questions. First, why a second language teacher basically needs to use the language teaching technology? Second, what are the elements of this technology facilitating second language learning? Third, how teachers can take the full advantage of the language lab in teaching?Keywords
