Emerging Technological Innovations in Library Management and Services

Modern technology is changing mankind as much as it is changing our planet. Library management and services is one field where new technological innovations make a greater impact. This paper aims to discuss the issues and impact of emerging technologies and innovation in library management and services which will proudly serve in the near future. The overall purpose is to share the resources using new technologies with the facilities available that would provide a variety of features to save time, promote community development and drive better services for the library users. Therefore, this paper attempts to analyze the problems of the present technologies and gives an idea about emerging technologies that could alleviate the erstwhile problems. It was concluded that in order to meet the challenges emerging out of library services and in management, technological advancements has to be updated at regular times to compete the faster growing environment.
