Among the language skills, the first skill a child acquires in his or her mother tongue is the ability to understand the spoken words, i.e., the skill of listening. Then he / she tries to reproduce the sound sequences heard from others to express his / her desires, aspirations and needs, and thereby acquire the skill of speaking. Similarly reading and writing skills are also acquired gradually. This paper deals with Language Learning and Acquisition. Keywords
