Emerging Trends in Herbal Technology

The term "herbal technology" covered all the advancing technical frontiers to utilise plants around us by manipulating through various modes. A large number of technologies have been developed to harvest the products that the plants manufacture, including natural dyes, biofertilizers, biopesticides, etc. This National Seminar on Herbal Techno¬logy was a step in codifying principles and defining scientific methods of this concept of profitably managing the plants around us. A total of 55 papers were presented in different scientific sessions. Among these, 00 papers were on herbal medicines, two on natural dyes, three on biopesticides, two on biofertilizers, nine on phytochemistry, five on herbal taxonomy.
