Land Reforms aim at redistributing ownership holding from the viewpoint of social justice and reorganizing operational holdings from the viewpoint of optimum utilization of land. Besides this there is the problem of conditions of tenancy, i.e. the rights and conditions holding land. Land reforms aim at providing security of tenure, fixation of rents, conferment of ownership etc. The entire concept of land reforms aims at abolition of intermediaries and bringing the actual cultivator in direct contact with the state. This paper deals with scope and need of land reforms in Developing countries. This paper basically emphasize on Land Reform in India.,its implication in different parts of India.- M. N.
