The raptorial birds are classified into three orders, all of which evolved independently. Diurnal raptors such as ospreys, vultures, eagles, and hawks belong to the Order Accipitriformes, while other diurnal raptors such as falcons and caracaras belong to the Order Falconiformes. Nocturnal raptors or owls belong to the Order Strigiformes.- A Report of Cestode (Phylum:Platyhelminthes) Parasites from Indian Waterbirds
