"Knowledge is a process of piling up facts; wisdom lies in their simplification" - Martin H Fisher These words truly depict the importance and impact of knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) sendees in the world today. This article analyses why India is considered to be a perfect location for the knowledge process outsourcing or knowledge sendees but our major concern is can India ever become a hub for KPO sendees? Our analysis finds out that, in the past, India has enjoyed a major share of world s KPO market, but will the future be as bright as our past? The availability of employable workforce in KPO business is questionable. The cost advantage which was the major driver of the KPO business is slowly degrading due to inflation, appreciation of money and expected salary hikes in the recent times. So, if India wants to continue at the top position in KPO business, the Government of India has to take some landmark decisions to correct the shortcomings.Full Text

Corporate branding and company image does have a positive impact on loyalty provided the organization maintains its trustworthiness and credibility. Other drivers of loyalty are habit and experience. Doctors consider corporate branding to be important for the pharmaceutical industry. Companies have been successful in positioning themselves to some extent, which is reflected in the image perception of companies amongst the respondents. The importance of the sales representatives is significant and seems to be the main media by which to make the respondents link companies to products as other activities are objective without any product promotion (educational programmes, scientific meetings etc). A positive corporate image of companies does seem to have an impact on prescribing behavior and loyalty. However, familiarity with drugs habit is decisive factor in relation to their prescribing when choosing between almost similar drugs.Full Text

Pension funds are an important part of private savings flows, the main supplier of capital to industry and play a large and growing role in the providing retirement incomes in countries with mature funded pension systems. Reforms which increase the emphasis on privately managed, funded pensions must get the tax treatment right. Pension do not exit to increase the national savings or to provide jobs for actuaries, tax payers, accountants, fund managers and regulators. Their purpose is to allow the elderly and disabled to retire from work with dignity. This paper sets out the options for taxing pensions, and the arguments between them.Full Text

In 21st century we are witnessing golden time for Indians to explore the world and create the benchmarks to be followed by others. Booming Indian economy, conducive business environment and unending talent pool are proving opportunity to do whatever we want in our field of expertise.Our healthcare system is crumbling day by day and public is devoid of basic healthcare facilities though we proudly say that India is having access to any healthcare technology available in world but we feel if we can not provide it to masses, that technology is irrelevant for us. Government both at centre and state level are unable to do sufficient efforts because of budgetary constraint and mismanagement of available resources.
In developed countries government and insurance companies bear a part of healthcare expenses along with patient while in India most of the expenses have to be borne by the patient that leads to avoidance of health monitoring and costly delay in treatment.
A high expense in healthcare makes many poor families to remain below the poverty line and their whole life incomes become consumed in a single major surgery or treatment.
This paper is presenting an introspection of present health insurance system and prospect of health insurance in India and how could it change the Indian healthcare system and life of millions of Indians. Present growing market offer a large unexplored market for private insurance companies and offer new product (Insurance scheme) to millions of middle class Indians.
