Crop Simulation Models helps to estimate crop yield on the basis of some parameters like temperature, soil, weather and crop etc. DSSAT-CSM (Decision Support System for Agro-technology Transfer - Cropping System Model) is an extension of DSSAT crop model. DSSAT-CSM contains a modular structure which has various modules that work along various parameters and give the desired output. CropSyst is a user friendly, multi-year, multi crop, daily time step cropping system simulation models which is used to study the effect of cropping system management on productivity and the environment. It takes the factors such as soil-water budget, crop canopy and ischolar_main growth, soil-plant nitrogen budget, residue production and decomposition and management options like crop rotations, irrigation, nitrogen fertilization and tillage operations into consideration. DSSAT and CropSyst both are used to analyse growth production but based on different input parameters.
