There has been a growing view that the problem with MBA program has been a discemable theory and practice divide with the need for business education to develop at the pace and scope of business practice and an emphasis on developing managerial skills and competences-especially those required in complex and turbulent environments present in the 'real world'. The paper presents a literature review covering the issue of the management theory-practice divide.
