Abstract
This paper presents a novel dry electrode based on tungsten needle array for Bio-potential Monitoring. An array of Tungsten Needles were fabricated by the electrochemical etching of tungsten wires using KOH. The fabricated needle array electrode was used for EEG monitoring along with conventional gel electrodes. These electrodes exhibit a good signal with less noise and virtually no motion-artefacts.
