Sundaram Clayton goes Global with Air Brakes

Sundaram-Clayton (SCL) has adopted a strategy of transforming itself into an export-driven globally competitive company. It also plans to boost exports of air brake system and aluminum castings in the face of new players entering the domestic market. The company's plan to demerge the air brake business into a separate entity has not yet taken shape and the deal is awaiting clearance from the legal wing of US partner, Wabco.
